David,

You state on your site that you sell 10ml transparent dropper bottles with childproof caps. Alongside this description is a picture of the same:

What you're actually sending is 10ml translucent LDPE bottles WITHOUT childproof caps:

The whole reason I placed a bottle order with you guys was because of what you advertise. I need childproof bottles (kiddies in my house) and I hate LDPE.

All I want from you is for you to send me the bottles I ordered. You say you have them, so why not just send them?

What I don't want is your sob stories and excuses about how you aren't a bottle supplier or how you don't make enough money off of bottle orders. I really don't care, man, and I don't see how these excuses make it ok for you to mis-represent your product. But oh well....
I'm also not asking for you to admit any fault and I don't want an apology. You've made it clear that neither is going to happen. Oh well again. :facepalm:

When I receive the right bottles, I'll return YOUR MISTAKE on MY DIME. I'm actually an honest person who won't make excuses.

Maybe you could post a delivery confirmation number and then I'll do the same within 24hrs? Will that work since you don't trust me (for whatever reason)?

And yeah... I know my $20 order probably doesn't matter much, but it's the point of you acting like none of this is your fault, making me ship back with my own money, and making me wait for you to receive the order before you send me what I bought. It was your mistake, bud.... not mine.

I honestly didn't expect this from you, especially after the family ethics lesson on your home page. :rolleyes:

So why don't you just man up and send me my order.

honestly it is posts like this that make me want to stop selling bottles. anyone is free to order them from china, wait weeks for them and pay a bloody fortune to get them.
This rant is all over just a few bottles. Sorry you did not get the bottles you wanted we will stop carrying them as an option for sale

Please don't! I don't order the 10 ml. size, but I love the 3 ml. size for dripping. I'm sure others do too. :)

Maybe instead, they should just take the picture off. my .02 cents. I have ordered bottles from them also. It would be a shame if they discontinued them because of one person.

I'm a supporter & a customer of FSUSA, and have praised the juices & service that I've received, and have defended FSUSA on ECF for what I thought were unfair attacks. I understand the problem with the bottles that the OP described in his original post - not matching the description on the web site. I don't, though, understand that attitude that David exhibits in his response. Their was nothing in Kilgore's post that I saw as particularly negative or representing an attack against FSUSA - he just wanted someone from FSUSA to take responsibility for the problem & do something to rectify it. We all expect the same service and consideration - not excuses.

As a noob I've heard a lot of good stuff about FSUSA. This isn't helping me place my next juice order with them. I actually was interested in those bottles pictured on the website. I would've had the same reaction...

Strange....I actually ordered those bottles before and received those bottles, so I am really confused. o_O. I guess they must have ran out and sent those instead of issuing a refund? I don't need cp caps but if I had children running around it would definatly be a necessity cuz this stuff is poison! I hope this gets rectified (haha I said rectified! Hahaha) in a mature fashion and you DON'T stop carrying empties or raise the price, specially if your getting them from China which is bad bad bad but they are cheaper than us plastic com(whatever that site is) if you make .10-.20 each that is a good profit margin on empties...

p.s. if somebody wants to start another co-op(I missed the last one) for bottles let me know I'm in!

I totally agree with you Banjo as I too am a loyal supporter and customer of FSUSA.

Knee-jerk, defensive, angry responses by vendors are not good and this is not the first time I have seen David get defensive.

Come on man - take a deep breath and realize the customer just wants what he ordered according to the representation on the website!

We are all human and mistakes are made. Don't make such a big deal out of it!

I ran a business online for over 5 years and I know it can get very busy and very frustrating at times, but I never became defensive with my customers if I made a mistake - it's just not good PR.

I think you strive very hard to make everything good for your customers but then when things like this happen you take it PERSONALLY and react unfavorably.

Instead of the reply you gave this customer here online I would think that your loyal customers would expect a reaction such as :

"Sorry man - we ran out of the clear bottles and had to make a substitution"
"If you are not satisfied with them we will be glad to replace them with clear ones as soon as our stock comes in"

Just my 2 cents and no malice meant to David or FSUSA - I still love you guys!
Just think about it!

I think David needs to find a different line of work. Maybe I am wrong but I get the impression he is in over his head, stressed, and unhappy.

I owned my own business for 23 years. The best day of my life is the day I shut it down. I went to work for someone else and took a 400% pay cut. I'm happy as a pig in poop.

Come on guys and gals.. Each and everyone of us have badddd days. We have all said things in the heat of the moment and were instantly sorry for it. Give the situation time to mellow and I am sure something will be worked out. It always is. I have no doubt that David is stressed. Who wouldn't be? All of us have been spoiled rotten by his company, I mean, great juices, great hardware, great shipping, frequent sales, etc. I could go on and on. but each of us offering an opinion and fueling it on cannot be of help to anyone. I know coulda, woulda, shoulda......Lets let this fire die down and I am sure David will take care of his customer.

The internet is a dangerous thing...ask any professional athlete who would like to take back a tweet...

Whoopses happen, I've had product substitutions from other vendors. Sometimes they are fine, other times they aren't, and the vendor then makes good.
(Communication prior to a substitution is the best thing to do, but if you make a substitution that doesn't work for a user just fess-up, correct the concern, move on. No fault in trying to do the right thing, but equally no surprise if a given customer does not like a given substitution.)
