Hey guys..

I've purchased the following ejuices so far and I'm hating most of it. Below are just my basic opinions and in no way reviews.

  • Mt.Baker Vapor - Most were ordered with 1 extra shot.
    • Butterscotch - Too sweet.
    • Banana gone nuts - Not too bad. I would say this is the best out of the bunch I ordered. Still a bit too sweet for my taste.
    • Morning vape - Hate it. The worst out of the bunch. The after-taste I cannot stand. Makes me feel nauseous.
    • Blueberry - Too perfumy, even with over 2 weeks of steeping.
    • Mudslide - Not too bad... A bit on the sweet side.
    • Raspberry Lemonade - Same as blueberry. Too perfumy.
  • Heather's Heavely Vapes
    • Legend - Not really liking this much. Too woody. Considering how much praise I've heard about this one, I'm deeply disappointed.
    • Dragon's Fire - Same as above really.
  • High Caliber
    • Cinn-a-bun - This was with my original order of the mod and parts. Didn't really like it much in the beginning, but after trying the others that were ordered - this is my favorite so far I guess.

The Mt.Baker juices has been, and still are being steeped. To be honest I'm not liking any of the juices at all. At this point, I may stop vaping if I can't find some juices that are satisfying.

I remember when I tried vaping quite some time ago, I used the Vapor4Life kit. The pre-filled cartos that were ordered with the set were mostly great. I don't think I've "hated" any of the flavors. So I decided to order 2 flavors (Coffee, Hilton) to see if it is still good as I remember.

My questions are:

  1. Can anyone else recommend some other ejuice vendors, along with the flavors? It seems that I don't like sweet, and woody/nutty flavors. I do believe I like coffee though.
  2. Would it be possible that the flavors would be very different is used wit a cartomizer instead? Would it make a big difference? I just can't believe I don't like ANY of the flavors I've tried so far....

Much appreciated.
Thanks

Taste is subjective. I had to find the juices I like by ordering sample packs. I was tired of spending money on 15ml only to figure out I didn't like them. I went through a lot of juice before I found the ones I did like. It was something like "for every 10 flavors I tried, I liked one or two" If you don't find anything you like you could try unflavored juice, my only two vaping friends both use this.

I make a Honey-Virginia mix using Flavour Art flavourings. Using the EjuiceMeUp calculator, I consider my strength, how much I wanna make, and the PG/VG ratio but then I add 5% Honey flavour, 5% Virginia flavour and 10% distilled water. So far, two of my friends will ONLY use juice I make...pretty proud that that! It might be too sweet for you though. Have you considered DIYing so you can get it to your taste?x

try Nitelitevapor Caprilo cafe late. Very popular. I myself hate vaping coffee and chocolate so i wont be much help with the coffee side fo things. But i too started at V4L and grew from there. I also do not care for MBV or ECB. Premium juices can also suck as i have tried five pawns and they were terrible IMO.

As others have said, try sample packs from different vendors and find a few that you like. I have tasted hundreds of juices and i still only have 1 flavor that is my ADV. Pluid. Its the only one that has stuck with me.

YMMV my .02$

I pretty much enjoy coffee and fruit flavors, and use several flavors from those two niches. When suggestions for favorite coffee flavors are presented here on the forum (pratically every 3 - 4 weeks), Copper Creek's Coffee usually ends up being one most often suggested. I use it a lot. It's is a very authentic black coffee flavor, and I sometimes will add My Freedom Smoke's Sweet Cream (that's how I drink my real coffee). Their House Blend is also an extremely popular flavor that I highly recommend.

For a coffee flavor that is a little more exotic, Virgin Vapor's Kona Velvet Milkshake is similar to a caramel frape from a fine coffee shop. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, Vaperite's Double Espresso fits the bill for me.

For authentic fruit flavors, nothing beats Dripeez for me. 75% of my juices come from this vendor. They use all-natural, all-organic flavoring which I have come to appreciate more and more to provide the best flavor in e-liquids. Their Golden Apple comes the closest to an all-day vape for me; I use it alone, or with some cinnamon or rum added with it.

As others will undoubtedly suggest, purchasing sampler packs from vendors that offer them can save you time and money in finding some flavors that you will like. Once you find some winners, purchase more in a larger size. The above Virgin Vapors and Vaperite both sell sampler packs. Dripeez sells 6 ml bottles which are an economic way to test their flavors.

Be aware that since you are a new vapor, years of cigarette smoking have damaged your taste buds. Your taste will be off until they heal. Your taste and preferences in e-liquid flavors will also change over time. Be sure to exhale some of your vapor through your nose to allow your sense of smell to assist your sense of taste.

A great coffee flavor is Pursuit of Happiness by J Vapes. It's their mix of RY4. Smells like caramel but vapes more like a cappuccino. It does have a sweet inhale flavor but exhales like it came straight out of a Starbucks cup with a nice hit of tobacco. It's a favorite of mine with morning coffee.

the problem is the vendors you're ordering from. Try Indigo, velvet cloud, and especially nitelite.

I also ordered only from economy/cheaper vendors in the beginning thinking that they would be just as good as the pricier/premium vendors.... they're not.

My wife is going to hate you. I just said I'm done spending for while and now have to order an indigo ice sampler. Thanks a lot!

Try using a Kanger T3 or Kanger Protank clearomizer.
Try your juices again in two weeks. Steeping can make garbage into nectar.
Ecigexpress has a fantastic tobacco juice. It's just called "Premium Tobacco"
It's out of stock right now,but it will be available in a week or two.

Try goodejuice.com especially for tobacco's. Their homebrews taste like you are sucking on a tobacco leaf. The Patriot taste like an expensive cigar/pipe tobacco and nothing else added. HHV seems to be adding flavors to their tobacco's (plus they really need a weeks steep). HHV Legend actually tastes like an RY4 to me.

The goodejuice premium line has many good flavors as well. Some better than others, but none (I've tried) has that nasty perfume taste. My favorites are the maui menthol, sweet apple, ecto cooler, and kryptonite if you want to go funky.

Best of luck!
