LOL, happy new year's DAY so that means no sparkly pictures or memes.... Although if I had the energy to find something, it might be a hospital pic. LOL.
Although the reminder of Pinky and the Brain gave me a nice blast from the past giggle. I was trying to find that show "Kenny vs. Spenny" the other day but it's not really available anywhere without paying for it unfortunately

My husband and I spent New Year's Eve rewatching the last season of GOT. It reminded me of a picture I have been meaning to post here.

I never started watching that show, but watched an episode or two and just didn't get it. I think you have to start from the beginning, but I don't think I want to purchase HBO "go" just for that, now we have no cable.... John Oliver, maybe, but he is almost as much of a treasure as Jon Stewart, man all the women in my family about died when he gave up commentating. LOL.
I think I could get into "Game of Ohms" though, if it contained drama, tragedy, maybe set in a futuristic land where vaping was necessary to sustain life.
Honestly, one of my favorite shows of all time was "The Leftovers." I know a lot of folks thought the last season was lame, but those last couple episodes had me crying.... And a show where there's a religious cult that MANDATES smoking and just being a total JERK at all times? Count me in. LOL.

Anna, I loved "The Leftovers" and thought the last episode was brilliant. That was an HBO show - how did you watch it if you don't have HBO? We love GOT at my house and will be devastated when it ends next year.
We recently got rid of cable. I kind of wish I'd watched the whole thing again before it left....
I am surprised how much of an adjustment it is to go to hulu/netflics although it's cheaper... Although the cable company did try to lure us back, LOL.

If you want to get into Game of Thrones without paying for it just imagine 40 characters from different shows you just kind of like (think of people you like but if you were in a burning building and you could only save them or the dog, you'd save the dog. Let's face it, he's probably more faithful and engaging) all in medieval dress. Then have those characters be repeatedly screwed over, tortured or raped before they are killed off by the most awful people you can imagine. Then throw in a dragon and a frosty albino zombie every now and again. That is the Game of Thrones.

That actually doesn't sound like a fun watch to me. LOL, I did watch all of the Walking Dead when I was working nights (well, most of it) on my nights off (had to stick to the schedule, LOL). So I'd be the only one awake in the house watching ZOMBIES, I still don't know how that worked, but it did.
