GREAT video SpaceKitty and your new avi too. I saw Tull in '76 in Oakland. I think it was a good show (I really do) but it was, well you know, the '70s :)

Guess that makes me a younggin, cuz the ONLY time I saw Tull was at Carnegie Hall in NYC about 4 yrs ago and saw the Who at the Garden sans John Entwhistle (RIP), also saw Little feat play at the Westbury Music Fair that year.

I may only be in my 30's, but at least I know what good music is...

I have discovered (or rediscovered) Buckethead, Joe Satriani, and Yngwe Malmstein god what guitar players these guys are.

Some true beasts of instrumental metal

YouTube - Buckethead-Final Wars

YouTube - Yngwie Malmsteen-Arpeggios From Hell

These guys are who have been floating my boat for some time now...

Ya Freaky, I've been on that site a bit. My wife bought me the book when it came out a few years back.
I found this: deadlists home page Looks like it have the set list from every show. I found my first two shows :) They show tapers and board tapes and it takes you to archive.org and you can play the whole show. waaaaay cool !!!!

BTW ~ I didn't check it out, but I think it has all sorts of bands on there.

Thanks Bovinia. Years back, way before the internet, I had a tape that a friend made me with a lot of real obscure recordings of BB. One was him and Bobby Bland doing this live. It was awesome, but I've never been able to find it since.

It really speaks to me though. "I never got angry with my guitar, cause when I strike a chord it gives me what I want to hear". :)

I heard that in the lyrics :) Music has to speak to me not just thru the music itself, but the lyrics.

It makes me very sad to see Bealle Street drowning under the Mighty Mississippi right now with the flooding in my old home area. I grew up near Memphis and used to go to the Bealle Street blues dives long before it was revamped.
