Whew, I'm finally awake and up.

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!

I was worn out last night and cratered a little early, Must have been all that grocery shopping that did me in. Yesterday was the first time I'd been in Krogers in more time than I can remember. DW used to shop there a lot when she was alive, but since I've been on my own I usually just go to WalMart. Krogers is the same size as our WalMart, but instead of having clothes and toys and all those other cool things, Krogers is wall to wall groceries. And naturally, I had to go up every isle and check everything out.

Too much exercise. I don't see how these ladies here who work and maintain a home do it all. If I had to do what they do you'd be seeing my face on a milk carton.

Hey El Dee, I really like the adventure stories of yours too. I need to hear more of them! I've never done many illegal things but that Judge who lives down the road from me has never taken the time to try to understand my point of view or position in various matters. He's one of those hard headed types.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

Time for coffee (and nic)!!!

I guess all of our "working women" have gone to work. Hummm, "Working Women," that doesn't sound right.

Anyhow, they could have stopped by here and made the bed before they left.

Oh ..... wait.

I was still in the bed.

I guess they could have made it up around me.

I have to do everything around here!!

Good morning, all.

TT, i have not been in a Krogers in at least 30 years. They closed down in Charleston about that long ago. They are opening some of those Walmart Express stores in this area that just carry groceries. Maybe then I will try shopping there more because the Super Walmarts are just too huge. Plus, I don't trust their produce or their meat. They do have other things that are great deals though.

Used to be that their frozen goods were well priced. The last time that I was in there, they seemed to have gone up just like everything else though.

Well, here it is Friday already!

On Friday nights I like to get all dressed up in one of my pretty outfits and high heeled shoes and go up to the Truck Stop and get me some free coffee from those nice truck drivers.

My high heel shoes are pretty and were made for me by Chicago Bridge and Iron.

II like to roll my nylons down in a roll that stops just above my knees. It was good enough for granny and its good enough for me.

Its a pleasant way to spend a Friday evening. Hey Wuzz, do you wanna come along?

Wow, I know what you mean salem. Down here WalMart carries both Tyson and Pilgrims chicken and their local companies, so I can safely buy those.

The last time I was at WalMart I saw some of those pre-cooked shrimp in a little plastic tray. I looked at the label and its those pond shrimp from Viet Nam that they load with antibiotics and other chemicals because the pond water is so contaminated. Its important to keep up with what NOT to buy and then read the labels.

Here I am near the shrimp capitol of the USA and their selling Viet Nam shrimp!!!

Morning folks :)

I get my coffee and nic ducks in a row before I log on. That way I can enjoy the stories!

I don't have a DVR either Salem, so don't feel bad.

Me too, Bov. My PV is in my lips before my eyes are even open. I have two hungry parrots up at the crack of dawn that I have to feed and care for before I am able to get caffeine though.

I have to do my least favorite thing now. Get on the phone and call for doc appts plus call pharmacies about the Tdap vaccine. Doc told my mom, DH and myself to get them. Ugh.

Lolz. Thanx for the invite Tex but if I drink coffee that late it keeps me awake. After 3 it's decaf ice tea and Geritol.

Man I got the deficiencies as well....caffine and nicotine....

Seeing as it's rather sloppy and cold outside I saw no real reason to rise and shine real early...actually there's gotta be some real important sheet for that early part no matter what else is happening...

Judges....You gotta respect them....I usually just let my lawyer do the talking...Every time I've set foot in a court room I was guilty as sin...Always there was some way to pay a sheet load of money and acquire a little justice....The one time I had to go and was completely innocent though....Well that's a story in itself...I did manage to wrangle out of that situation as well....details to follow one of these days....

That old Econoline Van ended up in a junk yard nearby...The guy who owned the yard went psycho one evening and killed his wife and kid...I'd no idea he had the van while he was actually still running the yard...The guy I'd sold it to never finished paying me and I still held the title...I called him on it and he told me where it was...The yard was well off the road and the murder house sat squarely in the middle and was deserted...Yeah I went down there and looked for that van but never did find it....

Hoping the mail lady has treats for me today !!

Well now...it seems I'm brain dead on the volts=amps=charging hub for my iStick so I'll just swallow my pride and ask. I have a wal wart that I put a sticker on ages ago that says 2amp. On the wart it says Output 5V=2000mA. Is this a proper wal wart to plug my usb cable into for charging my iSick?

I'm not an early riser either Dee. I usually hit the pillow around 3am because the only time I have to myself is after Katie goes to bed around 10pm. I'm usually waking up around 9 or 10am.

RIP Leonard Nimoy :(

Not seeing any love from my mail carrier today unless tracking didn't update

Not sure about the wall wart thingy....I always just used my android charger on anything that accepted the micro USB...Worked well on several PVs including both Sticks...Not sure if the rating is on there but I will check in a bit...Pretty sure you could just plug into the computer and charge as well....

So I just stumbled upon tensioned micro coils...Little home made winder and all...I'll get deeper into this situation and let ya'll know whats up...If it's better and easier I'm all for that....Like it'll be the first time I searched out non related gear for vaping...Like the time I was neck deep in the yarn section of Wally's or searching every grocery for miles in search of a pyramid tea bag

TT is here !!!!! Hi TT, sorry to hear about your DW :( Maybe now that you are here, Pokey will stop in a bit more often.

Good morning, Refugeepeeps !!!!! :)

Hi Jerry,

Yeah, losing my wife was a surprise. I always figured I'd be gone long before her. A lot of Yeast Texicans have told me that time will make you feel better. I've learned that is B.S. Time hasn't helped a dang bit.

Good to see you again my man, and I seriously doubt that I'm a Pokey magnet!!

But I always enjoy reading what she has to say. She;s a fine lady!

Yeah, that was a good question Bov had and it would be interesting to know the answer(s).

Now that made my belly hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read so much conflicting about the wall warts. The stick has overcharge protection plus, the ww does not push electricity but, the stick pulls what it needs. Not sure if something could go wrong and the stick pull more than it needs but, if that happened, the overcharge/over current protection should kick in.

Lots of good info here though http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/

Ok, I just looked at a few posts from respected members here. Looks like using the proper cable is the most important part. The wall wart should be just fine :thumb:

1) The USB "hub' or DC adapter.
2) The charging cable/charger.

If it has a charger cable...there should be writing on the cable somewhere that talks about input and output voltages and amps.
If the device has a built in charger...look at the device and/or check the manual.

It should say something like "INPUT: 5v, 500 ma" (just an example). That's what it needs as an input. The OUTPUT part is what it sends to the battery/device. It can vary by device. So ALWAYS USE THE CHARGER THAT CAME WITH THE DEVICE. Always use the proper charger for the device. Match them up. Label them if you need to. Don't mix em up.

All standard USB connections are 5 volts. So that's easy. The "wall wart" just converts the input (wall plug or car power or whatever) to 5V. It must source enough current (amps).

What you don't want to ever do is charge an e-cig battery too fast. Don't put a charger on a battery that's designed for a different (particularly bigger) battery and over-amp the battery. "

My tablet charger plug worked fine but the 2amp wall wart got warm in the wall outlet. I can't read the tiny writing on my tab charger even with my cheaters. Thank you for the info Salem.

Well ain't I just the brown headed bass turd child! No KSM for me in the mail today!

ETA: I dug out the magnifying glass and the wart for my tablet is 1amp output :)

Don't feel like the lone stranger, Bov. A friend in FL sent me a package priority that should have been here today. Nope. It is sitting in Amarillo, TX and trust me that is nowhere between FL and SC

Seems like USPS has made more errors in the last year than I have had in my lifetime with them. I had a coop order ship from FL last year. It too went to TX and bounced around there for about 1 week. :glare:
