I started with silica and graduated to Peaches n' Crème yarn (after a failed attempt with cotton balls)--*that* was a vast improvement.
I had not used JC until receiving the KSM with its spare cotton. I liked it but curiosity got me and and I purchased a multipack of KohGenDoh, Labo and Muji. I have only tried the KGD.
Truthfully? I have noted a remarkable improvement in wicking in the Kayfun with the KGD.
I have always had difficulty getting it to wick as I thought it should, thought it was my build, my DT, amount of wick, yadda, yadda, yadda. I have tweaked and tried this and that--y'all know this.
But with the KGD? While not perfection, it's the closest I've come.
The KSM? It wicks beautifully with the RDA regardless of the type of cotton. It gets a nod over the Kayfun for that, no primer pulls ever.
The KGD is super fluffy, puffy soft stuff and a pleasure to work with

I will be trying the other brands as soon as I need to change out wicks but am happy--happy with the JC.
For now
Good morning, y'all!
