My weather was just like Bovs but no rain, just dreary all day, and downright damp and chilly!
I felt well enough to go to work today (TT will be happy!) but poor Maddie was sent home from school with it. She's running a low grade temp too so it's likely she will be home with her Mama tomorrow as well. :(
It's time for me to hit the sheets!!
Will see you all tomorrow!

908 hope you and the little darling feel better real soon....

We got pollen....lots of pollen...On Spike's nightly nature calls you can see pollen floating in the beam of the flashlight....Everything has a yellow coating...

The Cub Cadet had a leaky oil sending unit...The unit screws into an oil galley in the block and oil pressure makes it open and close....closed when no oil pressure and that in turn activates a low oil pressure idiot light...29 years ain't bad for a sending unit but I'd read plenty of negative reviews on new units....So I scrapped all that and installed a mechanical gauge to moniter the oil pressure....Old girl holds 45 psi on a hot idle.....that IMO is stellar....and no more leak!!!!!!!

Friend of ours went to court this morning. The charge was felon in possession of a weapon (hunting rifle). The proposed sentence was 7-15 years in prison. He's the luckiest person I know. The judge accepted the explanation that he didn't know he was a felon and the game warden stood up for him. He got 12 months suspended. If he gets in any trouble in the next 3 years he will do the 12 months.

That just goes to show that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. A muzzle loader is considered an antique firearm, even if it's a recently made one. I guess that's considered a firearm too. As for the hunting license, they shouldn't have issued him one.

In a way, the state of New Hampshire and Wal-Mart set him up for a fall.

Hey guys, I finally tried a few of the new flavors and they are very good! I mixed them a little more than 1 week ago at 2.5% and I may even be able to go lower on a few. Thing is that they do not have a large variety and only sell 10 ml bottles. Not sure if that would change in the future or not. They had listed a BOGO sale at Reddit when I got mine. It was on flavor packs of 7 bottles each. I have only tried a few but, so far they are really good. Here is a link if anyone is interested Flavor Concentrate for DIY Eliquid | Flavorah

Liking the Tres Leche at 5% and a little more than 1 week steeping :thumb:

Tracy, I sure hope that your family is able to rid themselves of that nasty bug soon.

LD, the pollen is thick here as well. My shots must be working because it is not bothering me much at all. :D

ETA- I forgot to mention that they do let you make substitutions on the flavor packs. You are able to get any 7 flavors in a pack.

Glad to hear you're liking the new flavors, Salem! I'll have to check out the new kids in town ;) I love the Tres Leches, but it plays hell on wick and coil. I remembered to get DSW today, so that may help. Dropping from 7% to 5% may as well for my next batch.

Got some more 200ml brown bottles from my pharma today. I've started mixing much larger batches since getting the KSMs. My Kanthal came today too :)

Coming out of CVS there was a guy coming out behind me. As I was getting in my car he said "I like yo shake, Momma!" It cracked me up

There is a special shrub/bush growing at my Dad's house. It is a fragrant viburnum bush and my Dad bought it for my Grandmother for Mothers day many years ago. He had a heck of a time locating one and traveled quite a distance to get it I remember. My Grammy and I loved the smell of those blooms! Just a few flowers in a vase and the whole room smelled wonderful! It blooms for a short time each Mothers Day.

I asked my Dad what it would take to get a cutting going from that bush for my yard. If anyone could do it, my Dad could! Sadly, things always got in the way and I never did get my cutting........but I'm going to! I printed out exactly what to do and how/when to do it. The time is drawing near and will come to a close in June. I'm a bit nervous as I do not know if the bank has taken over the house by now, but I'm going for it anyway.

Once I have these "clippings" it'll take some time and patience (Lord help me), but hopefully I'll have a little fragrant viburnum bush in my yard by summers end. Not just any bush, but a piece of a very special bush that my Dad bought for his Mother many years ago. <3 Wish me luck?!?

I can see the headlines now, "woman is arrested for trespassing and theft of bush branches". If that happens, send 5C and ElDee please? Lol  :)
