Sleep tight Fran and Tracy
Damn Dee, you can't catch a break on that ankle! Hmmm, maybe that wasn't the best way to put it, but you know what I mean!
Katie put a pretty good scare into both of us today. I vaguely remember her poking her head in my bedroom around 8:30 to say she was going grocery shopping. I woke up at 10:30 and she was not home. Made coffee, did my morning routine, and at noon she still wasn't home. By this time I was really getting concerned! I decided if she wasn't home by 1:00, I would drive her route to the grocery to see if she had car trouble...or whatever. She Finally drove up about 12:45, visibly shaken, she had gotten lost and couldn't find her way home

I was
so relieved that she was ok otherwise. I can only imagine how scared she was!
There will be no more solo trips to the grocery store for her. She still insists that she can drive herself to Mass on Sundays, but I think the time has come for her to hang up her keys. This is the 2nd time in the last 3 trips to the grocery that she has forgotten her way home.
