Ours is 15 or 16 ft round. Its pretty big and the filter system on them, although improved from the previous models is still not much more than a glorified coffee filter in my opinion. It requires constant rinsing, stirring up of the water, etc.
We did try vacuuming it but it was pretty much just sucking up the sediment and shooting it right back into the pool. Even with frequent filter rinses. I just don't believe it's running right this year?

Good morning everyone!!!!

I listened to my mama and dumped extra algaecide into the pool, along with more shock last night and although it still needs more work, I'm thrilled to report that we have gone from a fluorescent shade of green to a beautiful light blue this morning!

Will be taking Wuzzs suggestion with the filter bypass way of vacuuming next!

Sorry to hear about your Aunt, Dee.

Glad to hear Tracy. Hope you're able to get the "silt" out of the bottom so it doesn't stir back up when you swim. Once you do that it should be easy to maintain.

Silt huh? I see what you mean bc it's cloudy blue; can't see the liner but it's the most beautiful shade of blue I've ever seen!
I'm on an antibiotic (Cipro) where you are supposed to stay out of the sun, just started it today. :(. I sure as heck didn't come this far to let it slip now, so I'll slather on the dreaded sunscreen (I hate that slimy crap!) and vacuum Wuzz-style!!! :)
