Good morning Fran and all the other refugees as you make your way in!

Looks like the heat is coming back in with a vengeance this week!

There's a new puppy in the house!!! She's a little blue bully pit, and we all just flipped when we saw her.
Am I a glutton for punishment? Maybe....I've been called worse...but the kids have all promised to do their part especially in my absence when working.
This baby is the niece of Dozer and when she was born, the breeder shot me pictures immediately as he knew I would like her. (The runt, a female, and blue (gray) ) We brought her home a couple times to see how she'd fit within the family. Bella (diva dog) is a bit apprehensive, but slowly warming up to the idea. Her parents are small so she should be as well.
We've named her Sapphire. :)

I hope you all have a great day!!!

Good morning troops. I am SO envious of this cute blue pittie. How I would dearly love, love, love to be owned by one.

Congratulations for this new addition to your family Tracy.

Thank you Rosco!!! She just walked right into her open crate on her own free will to take a nap!!!

Nice looking pup you got there 908 !!!!

My dumbass BiL pulls the deck off his mower to repair holes....knowing full and well he can't do it....and look....people coast to coast know my shop is without air until I finish my upgrades...he tries to rush me....Pretty sure his feelings are hurt....100% sure I don't give a damn....He sat on his azz in the ac when I was slaving on the concrete...at the beach for the weekend....Yeah.....

Hit the Wally last night and got Mom a new cordless phone...V Tech....no answering machine but two phones....the corded phone had a machine so that was most excellent...Now it sounds like a phone bomb in the house when it rings...Proving I'd had a full day when I called from my cell to check the ring I dialed the wrong number...5 minutes diagnosing... it called the cell fine.... I checked the number I dialed....Yepp...long day

Mom is doing OK....Very needy but OK....Her appointment is at 3:20 Tuesday and my long overdue appointment is at 4:00...both in Southern Pines and 50 miles up the street...Sis was calculating how I could pull that off....Pretty sure her feelings got hurt as well....Truth is I got a sheet load of papers for my new Doc and was told be there at 3:30 or so...a good 7/8 miles seperate the Doc and Mom's appointment...IMO Mom needs a family member in attendance cause she is 84 and gets sheet mixed the feck up sometimes....Plus there's a huge azz head shop and an equally huge Habitat for Humanity that I planned on hitting prior...I need some framing lumber and maybe a new smoking device....These sumbeeches around here you better smoke up before someone gets keeled....You need me I'll be in a cloud of sweet vapor mixed with really stinky smoke....eyes red as a MFer

I'm loving your plans Dee, and will even admit a tad of jealousy at the cloudy haze and the beach crib  Fek the ones who take from you and never give back! I'm glad to hear your Mom is doing ok.

I lost my cool with Katie last night, first time I've told her where to shove it in a LONG time. Anyone who's had a colonoscopy knows how miserable the prep is the day before the scope. Half a gallon of laxative has to go down 8oz every 10 minutes, and you best be as near to the throne as possible for several hours. My air conditioned room is upstairs but there is no bathroom up here. I told her I was gonna toss a quilt over the sofa, set my fan in there so I'd be semi comfortable and close to the bath. Everything was fine, she went to bed, and I carried on with my usual evening. About an hour after she had gone to bed, she came into my room and went ape on me about planning to turn her sofa into a sick bed...she didn't want any of my stuff in her living room, reminded me that this is her house and no one is gonna mess up her furniture. Needless to say, I was not very polite with my response...the only part I can repeat here is that I ended it by telling her to take her inconsiderate azz back to bed :-x

Still I got up and took care of the yard chores and mowing. I need a run away something awful!!

Sounds like i need to add you too, i'm sorry to here about the attitude. Especially when you are prepping for the scope (hate that part). My wife and i are going to the beach Labor day week and boy do we need it. It has been a LONG year.
