Hope everybody has a safe and happy Friday Eve.
You've sure got that right. Last time I drove through the tunnel from Jersey and came out on the NY side was the last time. Not really any good method of transportation there as far as I'm concerned right down to walking. Sure wasn't going to get in a Taxi that had the trunk held down by a bungee cord and the door held closed with a rope lol. It's been about 45 years ago so things may have improved.

Heya strangers.... Yes, I'm still alive, if not a bit warn out Have been on the run for a couple of weeks. Went back home 2 weeks ago for my 40 years HS reunion and had a blast. Last week found me at ECC hanging with vape friends.
My prayers go out to GoldieMom and DeeMom, they are in my thoughts...

Wuzz, it hasn't changed a bit!!! The only way in there for me is the train and subway. Place is crazy!!!
There is nothing I want to see in NYC except the other side in my rear view! And someone else will need to be driving

If they're saving me a place they can go ahead and give it to somebody else. I lived across the river from there for 7 years when I was a kid. Wasn't so bad then but last time I was back up there I wondered why.
Been to NY, don't need to go back. My oldest grandson lives in Queens and seems to like the city, go figure.
I live decently close by and can count on one hand how many times I've been there. A few International Beauty Shows, and the Sally Jessy Raphael show during her final season. (Just after 9/11) That was it. All that hustle and bustle makes me edgy. They can keep it!
