Fran I hope you enjoy the AromaMizer....I hope I enjoy mine as well!!!!

Most builds I've seen on the Aromamizer are 3MM/6 wrap/26G....That is yielding .4 ohms in most cases....Now that's well and good but I did all that looking to form an opinion and here it is.....6 wraps of 26 is a little short of the post holes....You gotta do a little fancy bending or else you're gonna have a loose wrap on the ends of the coils....Hey if I'm wrapping that beech a loose wrap is short of perfect...I wanna weld 'em together....4 is a little lower than I like....My previous experience with such decks indicate less than 26 gauge the screws turn into wire cutters....So looking for a few more ohms....a better fit for the legs....plenty of wick on the deck...wire sized so you won't ruin your new coil by cutting it....I'm thinking 8 wraps....3mm.....26G.....Looking for .7 ohms...so maybe 9 wraps....Stuff the coil and make dang double sure there is hella wick laying on those juice hole or else it's gonna leak....I hope to test this theory in the coming days....That Kabuki though....I'm gonna fire that gurl up on arrival...

Gotta head to the won't return your damn phone call Doc's office......All I need from him is a copy of the fibrosus test and an answer on if he'll try and get another month of pills.....So....If he won't go for another month he's out of the picture for good....if he'll try for another month I'll only see him once more....Trust when the ties are cut and if I get another bottle of pills I will wait until I got them in my hand.....I'm gonna build a big fire and drag old Doc through the coals....Twas only a couple of weeks ago I let him know where I stand and obviously I was a little too nice that day....I won't make that mistake with him again...

Hmmmm, I have 28 g and 24 g.....but no 26 atm. Hoping that can be rectified tomorrow at work. I love the specifics ElDee gives us. I follow his advice to the tee. So thanks for that! No I haven't tried to build my Aro yet....

My prewrapped claptons finally made it to NY from China, so I should have them in another couple of days to test drive. I've never had to wait this long for an order from FT. Ordered on Oct 17th, shipped on the 24th (somebody had to wrap those coils first) and then been sitting at china post until last night.

The new banana mix got changed around, don't remember if I posted about it. The FW banana nut bread has great flavor, but it's pitch black and a coil killer like I've never seen before. I'm talking gummed coil in 2 days!! So I ordered 2 flavors from TFA...bananas foster and banana nut bread, both nice and clear. I haven't mixed th BNB yet, but the BF is steeping into a winner mixed with the cinn roll, bav cream, and a little butterscotch. I know Fran wouldn't like it tho...it is quite sweet.

Ooooih that mix sounds good Bov! I'm a TFA girl myself and have 120 ml of banana nut bread right now. haven't mixed any foster before. I don't believe either to be an "in your face" banana, like banana cream is.
I love "nanner Vapes"!

Added to my above last post...I used to love that in your face banana, and Vaped banana cream for a long time. Now I much prefer the subtler nanner Vapes.
(It also depends upon the device used of course)
Our punched cartos didn't quite deliver the punch that today's tanks are capable of!

Agreed Tracy, it's not an in your face nanner. I was turned off of nanner vapes right from the git go because of the strong banana flavors. If Al hadn't given me a sample of the banana pancake/cinnamon, I'd have never explored it. The B Foster flavoring is a tad different in that it has a touch of vanilla and cinnamon already in it, but still a subtler nanner. I only bought 10ml of the BF flavor, I think I will like the BNB better.

Fran, it's actually steeping into being a little too sweet even for me! I may try it without the butterscotch and up the cinnamon by another ml.

I vaped a few bottles of Mrs.T's Bananas Foster back in the day....It was very dark.....

I said I wouldn't but I did.....Since there were reports of machine oil galore I tore the Aromamizer apart....I ran the water too full on hot and caught some in a cup....added the Aromamizer and a good bit of blue Dawn....I swirled and stirred that while letting it soak...Then I poured that out and flushed it with hot water several times...I tried to get that bottom o ring off and was intending on removing all of them but broke the first one and left the remainder of them on...They're silicone and not very durable...I'm sure they'll last a good while but removing them may not be an option...So.....8 wraps/26G/3mm....I used the mandrel from the Coil Master and set it on the posts and lightly snugged the screws....You will have to force the allen wrench into the grub screws the first few times...the wrench is plated and it's been said it will fit better over time...I thought at first it was the wrong one and tore my second Aro open to see if I'd lost a smaller wrench...It will fit just cram it in there....I'm good at that....Then I cut my wick and had to pull a little off twice before getting it to fit....I also set the top of my coils flush to the top of the poles on the deck....I cut my wick using the edge of the base as a guide....Wick sticking straight out of the coils and just a fraction over the edge of the assembled two piece deck....Then you gotta loop it over those two juice holes....I get it all where I want it on both sides and then add some juice and keep arranging the wick so you end up with a good air space under the coils....It initially ohmed at .67....then .49 and now after some use .65....Using 24 watts....Have been too 30 with no issues but dropped back a shade when I refilled the tank...I used the 2 hole band and tightened the tank until I saw the coil through the air holes...I also ditched that jacked up tip for a SoV delrin and that fit well...I like the tip extension built into the top cap...I can tell the tank is Chinese by looking but identifying high dollar materials is just a thing I do....I noticed no off taste....no leaks though I only laid it on it's side for a short bit....I ain't tempting it but over the course of the day it will surely end up on it's side...I don't see an issue yet....The vapor produced is enormous....The higher you push it the thicker it gets....I'm satisfied....3mm is a big azz coil and it fit no problemohh...IMO that is the size to roll with to get maximum wick over those juice holes or else it will likely leak....trust this all that vapor takes a dang lot of juice...it disappears at an alarming rate....Flavor is different than the KSMs I've been running...Flavor also seems a little better as the coils and wick settle in...Not sure if it's better or worse flavor wise but it OK at this point..Kinda funny seeing your coils and wicks every time you refill...So far all is good

I anticipate the arrival of the Kabuki tomorrow for the Pro V...It runs Nauty BVCs and I've got 1.6s with it....That should be a juice miser compared....Hoping it's all it's said to be....

I'd noted that Doc's office to be a ghost town around 3:30....Twas a madhouse today....Appointment Monday at you guessed it 3:30.....It's gonna cost me $60 more but bet this.....I will get some answers...He best not let me find out he didn't do everything in his power to get me a third bottle of pills...and I will not hesitate to call Gilead myself to confirm what he says....he lies...he pays....Simple as that......I deal with a lot of people through the week.....he's the only one I've got my eye on

Like the Velocity, the Aro's grub screw seats against the block so you can tighten it down without worry. It will leak if you lay it down too long. I haven't tried covering the air holes with the band. Hopefully that will stop it. And yes Dee, it loves drinking up that juice

Anybody have a leaking problem with the sub? I don't have much of a problem but most times when I take the tank off to refill it has a little juice on the bottom of the tank and a bit in the pv connector

Every now and then I get a little in the bottom cap, but it's never been enough to leak out the air hole. Usually I leave a little extra cotton on the tails for mopping in the bottom of the rta. Ifyou're getting it in your pv connector, you may need to pull the bottom pin out of the bottom cap and reseat it and it's little rubber grommet. I do that when I clean my bottom caps.

I treated myself to a Uwell Crown today...Happy early Birthday! I have the dual .5 coil in it, running 50w is fogging up my room So far I'm digging it!

Something occurred to me the other day about that: we've got a potential, very powerful ally in one Mr. Barack Obama. Remember way back that he had the remnants of a smoking habit and was trying to quit?

Now, keep in mind that he's a lame duck with little more than a year to go; previously, he could hardly go against the Democratic grain with an issue like vaping, but at this point there's little to lose--and perhaps a feather on the cap of his legacy to gain. Championing vaping would set him apart even within his party as a think-outside-the-box intellect, an iconoclast who could look past ideology and into the heart of the thing. He could go down as the divergent thinker Thoreau wrote about: "if a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears the beat of a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away."

As you and I know, and even most right-wing Republicans would admit, he has the gift of oratory. He and Henry David could change a mind or two. If only they would.
