Hey guys, thanks for all of the well wishes for my mom. It was one helluva day. Doc gave her 2 low dose xanax so that she could stay calm during the MRI. The woman was toasted! I wheeled her around the health campus all day after I practically poured her into the wheel chair. It was a trip but, she slept through the MRI :D

The first test was the ultrasound of her carotids. Amazingly, she has no major blockages! The doc called us the next day and I was glad that he did not make us wait and wonder. Only slightly negative part is that she had started back vaping/ not smoking. As soon as she got the news, back to the cigs she went.

Doc says it will take about a week to read the MRI of her brain. He wants to see if she has had any recent strokes that may explain some of her confusion and forgetfulness.

(((Oly))) glad you are feeling better.
(((Moon))) glad the surgery went well. I have the starts of cataracts in both eyes. Doc said that I will need surgery around my early 60s. I took my mom to have both of her cataracts removed about 15 years ago so have a good idea of how that surgery goes.

No that I spread so much sunshine around the place ;) I will bid you all a good night.

Prayers for GoldieMom and Oly !

Tracy is been cold out here in Wharf Land unless they're in SoCal, mid 60's there.

We had the ceramic donuts already. I looks like one issue with the Altus is heat up time, though I'm liking the concept. Here's a look at the ceramic? heating up. Starts at the 7:40 mark.... Altus

I have been checking that tank out too. Word on the streets is that they will soon come out with a top fill tank. I try hard to wait for at least the first revision but, am very excited about this one.

Morning Fran and Moon!

30 with a real feel of 34 here this am.

Wharf, you're a peach! I will send you my info as soon as I've had my coffee. :)
The girls will fly back east during the overnight tonight. I sure have missed them but they've had a great time and made some awesome memories together! I'm going to share something on my fb page that oldest dd posted. It warned my heart and you will see why. :)

Salem, whether you feel you are spreading sunshine or not, we ARE always happy to read your posts. :)
How's things in Yeast Texas? I sure do hope they're well. Tell our old friend we are missing him!

Tracy, you are just so sweet! I really don't talk to TT much these days but, last I heard things were going well. He hangs at a small place (non vape related) with folks like kgj, 5C, Gummy, Free, to name a few. I didn't like the feel or some of the goings on in other areas at that place and left long ago. So, I am not in contact with most of them much (if at all) anymore. I will certainly let him know that you asked about him the next time that I do talk to him though. ;)

That's great news Oly!

Just got home from my weekly Friday afternoon at the vape shop. Always fun to hang out and visit with the vapers I'm meeting there :)

I bet that is a good time, especially if any of the same people are there at the same time. One of the things i miss most about being retired (USAF) is the camaraderie between people with the same experiences. Most of my time is spent in solo endeavors. There is a bit of that when i go to the shooting range (if there are others even there), I just don't get there as much as i'd like.

The eye surgeon was kind enough to call me himself yesterday late afternoon to see how I was doing, I was impressed. Follow up this morning he said the cataract was a bad one that needed to come out. They did a pressure check apparently there was some swelling so he gave me a script for more drops, that makes 4 different ones now. Otherwise he said things looked good, I was able to read the smallest line on the wall chart. Before I could only read the big letters on the very top and they were blurry.

Afterward I found a vape shop the guy was using a tank that blew some really impressive clouds - TCT tank but I have gotten too much new stuff so I resisted the temptation. Have to look into it tho.

Good to know you're feeling better, Oly.

Glad to hear of good results. I had lasik a number of years ago. I went from "Sees light" to reading license plates on the way out of the eye Dr and not having to wear glasses after 35years.

Good morning all... Or should I say good afternoon since there's only 3 of us on this thread that is still enjoying the morning :)

I have been only using my Velocity for the last few months. Well I pulled out my Aromamizer after I saw it set up with a vertical build.

I am using 24ga, 8wrap, 3.5mm id coming in at .35Ω The vertical build give you more room. And I really like how it was running. I rewicked the other day and I decided to wick it the way I've been doing the Velocity, 1 piece of cotton, running thru 1 coil, up and over and down thru the other coil. So

So far, it working great. With verts I tend to get discolored, half cooked juice sitting in the cotton that is above the coil. The up and over doesn't have the issue.

That looks amazing, i'll admit i'm a bit intimidated by building/re-building on my own. I have been satisfied with the production stuff so i figured i'm ok.
