I made it top priority to call my insurance agent this morning.....Impatiently awaiting him to call me back cause you know......he was on the phone with another customer...Friday will be three weeks I turned in the bill for the dryer.....I'm a little pizzed about that...........

30 year old mower with junk mufflers at auction on the bay.....I found new ones for $130 online.....tried my local parts store....$229....Got one option 35 miles down the road....Should that also fail I'll take a few hits from the old .... and fire up the tools.....Pretty sure I can fix it....then I'll order the new one for $130 and put it in storage for when I need it.....Keeping old sheet on the go can have it's challenges....Sometimes I get tired from all that....

I've got a large Stihl backpack blower.....for leaves and such....Looking too add a DeWalt cordless blower for lesser jobs....it will fit in the toolbox of the Ranger so I can take it with me without it being out in the open in back of the truck....I got constant pine straw on the roof of my storage building at the beach that I've swept off so far...I'd leave it on the roof drip line only to come back and find rake marks where the tree trimming neighbor helped herself....Kept wondering why all that straw never accumulated until I saw those rake marks....Anyways a new blower will also allow me to keep the old Cub a little less dusty after cutting.....was kinda waiting for the insurance to pay the dryer bill though cause about $750 of the laid out cash is mine and I'm holding the previous check until I got it all....Just a little bump in the road.....there will be more bumps....of that I'm sure

Here I come again !!! Where ya'll at?????????????

Got the insurance check in hand....Hopefully that closes the book on the ice storm damage......

Couldn't get my hands on a muffler today....That old boy was a little rusty and rusty don't like welding....I cleaned and fit....then I cleaned and fit....after that I cleaned and fit some more....finally I got it clean and fitting pretty good so I welded that beech back on....No blowouts....complete weld 360*....heck the old bass turd was even sealed up tight and not leaking....Took it out and laid the smack down on Mom's grass.....

Dang Mom won $770 in a 50/50 for the local high school cheerleaders....My niece is gonna be on the squad next year.......DANG!!!! I bought 25 tickets........

So with the Cub humming my attention turns to the Snapper that replaced the Cub here at home....Just oil/grease and sharpen the old blades.....I run Gator blades exclusively and swear by them....The Cub has had Gators for years...They simply outlast other blades big time....Gonna hit the Lowes and snag that DeWalt blower tomorrow as well.....Hoping to be back at the beach around Wednesday to drop off the Cub....Got major ine cones and some weeds needing some round up.....bet this....i will be long gone before the holiday weekend

Morning folks :)

Dee you work like crazy! Happy to hear you got that last insurance check.

Katie was a challenge yesterday, as she usually is on days when I take care of my own chores like laundry. She lost her set of keys, we searched everywhere. Went outside and she had both city garbage barrels emptied on the ground going thru it. I asked her for the umpteenth time to check her pants pockets, then asked her to check her waistband. Bingo! I'm starting to wonder if she hides sheet in her waistband just to engage me in a search. While I had her keys in my hand, I took the car key and fob off, told her since I now own the car she has no need for them. She pouted for awhile, then moved on to something else. I was mighty glad when she went to bed last night!

So far so good today. Wal Mart day, so I brought home some treats for Katie...that'll keep her happy for an hour or so

Cloudy with a high of 68 today, tomorrow and the rest of the week 90s!! I'm not ok with that, but my ac is already in the window.

No bites on my car yet...Dee, wish you could work your magic selling it!

    Good morning everyone!

I'm happy your insurance issue is over ElDee.

Oh no Bov! In her waistband? Make sure to ask her to check there first when things go missing from now on. :)
Lauren's car hasn't sold yet either. Plates are already transferred so they can't even property test drive it. (I live in town)

Some idiot jumped up and broke my porch flag last night (not the first time).....but this time they dropped their keys at the scene. Hope they go through some h*ll over the loss. Idiots!

Not replacing it this time either. I'll get a small garden flag for my yard instead. I really need to move...someday.

My mom called me a little bit ago. Seems those dirtbags went on a flag stealing spree in the neighborhood last night. Another neighbor called it in and while my mom was at my house letting the dogs out, an officer approached her saying my neighbor gave her my info (thanks so much neighbor!) and said mine was taken too. He said if they find them the flags will be returned.
I called them and left a message that no worries, they won't find mine....it was a metal pole and they bent it all to h*ll but couldn't get it out of the hanger. Flag was pointing straight down at the sidewalk when I was leaving for work.
I soooooo want to get a small camera for my porch/car area.
We have soda sprayers across the street as well. (Great neighborhood huh?) Whenever one of us park in front of a certain house, our cars get sprayed with soda by next morning.

    Gotta catch em!!!

What the Hades is wrong with people these days.....Stealing flags and spraying soda on cars......Next thing they'll be trimming limbs in your yard.....

I got a camo trail cam situated high up a tree in the woods with a view of my back door....When I'm gonna be away I turn that beech on.....Ain't really worried about the cops....I prefer my own justice.....

I once had a single wide mobile home....When I got married my wife had found a good job down state about 40 miles outta Wilmington.....Right where some for real backwoods Mfers lived I tell you....Though they were city boys and I was from outta the woods they called me a big city boy for fun.....I had moved my single wide to a rented lot there and all was good....Well she had a good job but the body shop offerings were some real cave man sheet....She finds a job in Fayetteville so off we go in search of a rental lot....I find one by a lake....got the Wildlife Club and the Sheriff's Clubhouse for neighbors....I pay first and last to the dude....e asks specifics about the size of the mobile home and when I come back he's got stakes precisely where he wants my house situated....Then when the house arrives he's out there giving direction until it's precisely over the stakes...I procede to block it....hook the plumbing and electric up....I wait for final inspection....Home was a "72....in new shape but still a "72...."77 was the oldest allowed....top that with over 1/2 of the house sitting on the Wildlife Club's land....Fukked I was....My only option was to pay to have the house pulled back up too the farm and rent an apartment....When I went to get my money back the dude pulls a pistol and gets violent.....This cat was well known in town as he owned a steak house that had burned numerous times....Now his little crib had many "exotic" yard plantings that I had been forced to view when getting the sermon about how one was expected to keep one's yard at the place....So with my house sitting back on the farm....me without my $300 and out much more since pulling mobile homes all over the State ain't exactly cheap....not to mention all the work I'd done.....I formulate a plan......I had a little short bed Toyota 4X4....I muddied it up until the only non mud spots were where the wipers cleaned the windshield...His little crib had chain link 360 around the yard....protecting those "exotic" plantings....The wife drove as I sat in the back of the Toyota and we went around that chain link....I made damn sure the Round Up saturated the whole shooting match....Time for some new "exotics" Bro....thinking it's about time to pay that dude another visit.......
