A sweet mod, per the discussion I've been reading on it :)

I'm still cheap, looking for a free SMY SDNA on the hg contest :)

Did some kawvee Rozting this morning, a bunch of Costa Rica r&s. It's super as a cold brew, low acid, great flavor. Been drinking it both hot (microwave) and cold (iced coffee) this week.

The Dagger came in today....So far I'm pleased with everything it features...A shade bigger and a little more squared up vs. the D3...The screen I can actually see...I screwed that KF5 right on the Dagger....My second day with the KF5....Likely there will be another in the mail come Monday....It's just that good....Really no complaints on either the Dagger or the KF5.....

More days this summer with a heat index over 105* than the last 3 years combined...Yeah that's swell...Being it was Friday I stayed out of the shop and ran errands....few AC pieces for the Ranger and such....back at it tomorrow....Slow going with the heat and my making double damn sure everything is El Dee spec....Spike likes the heat but gets the wet dish rag look pretty quickly so he's been restricted to the AC....

Bov that really is an awesome looking PV!
I did the same thing when pondering the efusion dna200 (abalone finish)...I lusted after that mod from the first time I laid eyes on it. Was able to resist the temptation for awhile but then i saw it was available at another vape shop up the road from our shop. Once I laid eyes on it in person it was all over with and came home with me that day! The justification for me is that I work hard (so do you) and every now and then you just gotta say " what the heck!" I'll never own a more beautiful mod than this abalone box. ;) ....and guess what?....I'm not lusting after it any more. It's a double win!

Now that kayfun 5 has my attention! :) Once again, with the unknown future we face ahead, I can get kanthal and cotton a plenty, and my building skills haven't let me down yet! Always glad to hear your thoughts ElDee. If you like it there's a real good chance I will too!

Mark, I'm rocking dual twisted 28s on my Buddha and loving it. :) So good to have you back with us!

Vacation wrapped up today. It was nice to get away for a few days, but always good to come back home!

Hope you all have a good night. Zzzzz

I initially intended on ordering 2 Daggers and KF5s....Pulled back from that and ordered one of each to try out first....The KF5 I'm dang sure getting another....more than likely another dagger as well....The more I use it the better I like it....Looking at spare glass for the KF5 I came across Spectrum Tanks....They have colored tanks for a bunch attys......KF5 supposed to be released late July.....They got some pretty smack azz drip tips as well...I like a little something different about each mod so I can remember what juice is where....Matchy matchy tanks and tips will serve that purpose....On the other than Dagger/KF5 combo I got Crowns and coils for a good while...Gonna add a couple of Crown IIs as the one I have is great and with 2 more in the stable and a good supply of coils I should be good to go for a damn long time regs be damned....I only ordered one pack of Vaporesso coils....2 were good 3 were dudleys....last night I fought for 5 minutes getting a well primed coil to screw into that Aspire Triton II...Those coils are plated with a gold substance after the threads are machined...either the plating or the threads on the Triton are causing issue....being threads are a way of life for me I highly suspect the plating....threads are cut to size....the addition of plating changes the size no way around that....Well primed and running at 14 break in watts the Vaporesso burned after about 5 hits....Good when working but I found them hit or miss...YMMV....Anybody wants a Triton II....Holler.....Really interested in the IPV 400 as well....make sure and let me know how you like them....That Cuboid is just that....A CUBE...Works well but CHUNKY and SQUARE....Not a pocket PV at all...Everything I've read about the 400 indicates it was designed to be ergonomic in the hand and light as possible....the only thing I don't like is the 510 is centered and not off too the side....I could live with that though...

I feel flat worn out today for some reason. Hedges need trimming, edging needs doing..those chores will just have to wait...today is Diddley Squat Day!

I talked myself off the ledge on that beautiful Therion DNA mod. I have the new ink appt coming up in a few weeks and that will be with me for a lifetime :)

Is it nap time yet?

Dry as all get out here to....Spitting rain atm and the thunder isn't far.....

Debating getting the Cowboys from Hell {CFL} brand tattooed....but then I've debated that since Moby Dick was a minnow.....

Got the Ranger under control today....front suspension now all hot rodded but still at stock height....AC blowing ice cubes....oil changed....new brakes on the front and when I checked the rear.....yeah.....they're worn out and the goods will be here Monday at 1:30....Not counting any chickens at this point cause things can always turn South.....Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind to actually quit keeping this old sheet alive and well....I'm beat down.....

This whole damn FDA thing.....I don't wanna get caught without and if I didn't order another thing I'd be good to go for a good while....This whole Ranger upgrade was so the new tires I gotta order next week would wear nice and evenly for the duration....tires ain't cheap and I'm a tire snob...my dang computer is coming apart at the hinges and I don't think there's another repair left in it....computers ain't cheap either.....So thanks FDA for fekking sheet up worse than it already was.....I pray that sheet come home to them..........

Missed the rain today, but had perfect weather for camp - I'll take it :)

Low 80s, low humidity, a fair amount of clouds.

I built the first couple of frames for a little patio DW wants to build, next to the dog pen we put up.

We have two new pooches, Little Bear and Maggie, litter-mate Aussie shepherds, along with our black lab Jasmine and Sidney Aussie (my avatar).

We've been getting a nice, slow pitter patter of rain the last hour or so and radar looks like it may continue for awhile. The last few rains we've had were down pours that ran straight to the drainage grates in the streets, not time enough for it to soak in.

Beautiful new additions to your family, Mark!

Fran, you can be sure there will be pics, but my tatt appt isn't until Aug 24th. All of my others can be easily covered with just jeans and a t shirt. This one will be a constant visual reminder that I have not only survived these last several years, but have thrived and learned :)

For the first time in 40 yrs. I slept 8 straight hrs. without waking up. I'm sure it's from pushing that effin car in almost 100 degree heat. Cooler today and tomorrow supposed to be overcast so I'll crawl under the old sowbelly and see if I can find the leak.

This is the mod I want desperately and someday if I can find the money get one. A Rat Black Rev4 Billet Box.
