Mainly its to exploit cheaper

If you were using 'exploit' as: to get value or use from
I'd agree.

If you were using 'exploit' as: to make use of meanly or unfairly for one's own advantage
<exploiting migrant farm workers>
I would disagree for the most part.

Many from around the world have gained a better quality of life (from where they were before).

I think the problem is Americans don't want to pay $3.99 for American grown cantaloupe when we can pay 99¢ for Mexican/S. American grown.

A good friend of ours used to grow roses. South America got into the business and put him out of business. He changed from roses to hot house tomatoes.

But is that bad ???

Since our 3rd Anniversary I've bought Mrs Wharf a Rose for every year. On our 12th, the dozen cost $117. In 15 days I'll pay $69 for 31 long stem roses delivered.... But that gives me $48 more to consume more in products and services.

BTW.... My friend does quite well with Heirloom tomatoes :)

Do you want a mature economy like the USA where labor has fought for its fair share of the pie over the decades to compete the emerging economies where the struggle is just getting started for them? That's what tariffs are for to protect mature economies. Then we get into the area of protecting the Earth vs. no protection but cheaper production.

First Contradiction of Capitalism

The first contradiction of capitalism was a concept developed by Marx to describe what he believed was an inevitability of the capitalistic system. In this system, getting more value out of the available labor will result in a profit. Capitalism is based on ever-increasing the profit, so of course the capitalist will seek to boost his profit however he can. As it can be difficult to control the costs of materials, the easiest way to increase labor productivity, done by doing more with fewer workers. This could include laying off workers and cutting wages. This may initially result in a profit, but it also results in fewer workers with money to spend. The consumer base and expendable cash held by this base decreases, which means people don't have the money to buy products. So the products are being made in a manner that is less expensive, but the workers are too poor to buy them. The wealth becomes more concentrated, resulting in a society that is more and more unequal, and the economy of such a society is not sustainable.

I got those brake drums from car Quest.....$24 a piece but I get employee pricing....They worked and will likely work over time....Still though I don't like that sheet....

After some real struggle in hot as Hell temps I'm happy to say I got that dang Ranger back on the street....The suspension upgrades are the Cat's azz....A little stiffer ride....sits back at factory ride height...As I suspected the factory coils had compressed....The brakes are spot on....The AC will run you out....I was a little worried after throwing so many parts at it...In the end it was worth the hassle....Got an appointment for 1pm Thursday for some new Toyo tires....

Then after that I gotta get a new lap top....Leaning towards the Mac Air....That aluminum case...I dig it....I got a 17 inch screen now and the Air is 13....Trust I've repaired and hot rodded the hinges on this computer a few times....I'm pretty sure with a big screen and a plastic case you're eventually gonna have issues...Not really sure about Apples operating system as I've always had Windows.....I kinda like Windows 10 also....Time for a change though....

Back on the Merican stuff....3 quarts of oil and a filter for my HD....$$72 buckaroos....All Merican made and in my opinion the best there is....I'll be double damn sure any sheet going on my scooter ain't no cheap sheet....A friend from St. Louis called last week inquiring about my scooter....HD quit making the springer front end years back....He works at a dealer and had a customer looking a springer....Mines the last year Evolution engine as well...I will sell damn near anything but if you're gonna ride my scooter Son you better bring the cold hard cash and plenty of it....They got a new engine coming out before the end of the year so this is the last run for the Twin Cam....I never liked the Twin Cams....More power but way less reliability....HD added some automation assembling the Twin Cam bottom end....The Evolution required a human to assemble it to way closer tolerances....A craftsman lost his job and the end product suffered....Way to go Willie G

I don't think we want to compare Capitalism to Marxism... We know where that lead to ~

I had a great professor that said "Perfect Socialism is much better than perfect Capitalism... But Flawed Capitalism is much better than flawed Socialism"

Capitalism isn't the problem per se, it's that Capitalism can Buy the Government. And as long as Government is For Sale, we are ALL in deep doodoo !!!

Without Government picking winners and losers, which coincidently the FDA picked us as Losers, a fairly equitable Free Market can develop and thrive.

I don't want to belabor the point on a social thread but the tax for corporations provide for a host of deductions. Remember the stories of GE paying zero in taxes some years.

GAO: U.S. corporations pay average effective tax rate of 12.6%

These deductions are supposedly to promote socially advantageous behavior. Such as if you install energy saving devices we'll give you all a tax credit or if you hire this unemployed person here's some help with your tax bill to offset training.
Well then that's another bs platform Trump is running on. I wonder why no one picked that up.

Has anyone received their IPV 400 ????????? Looking to fire off an order over the weekend....

The Dagger is a sweet looking mod...About 1/8th taller than a D3......about 1/4 wider.....hefty though...Pairs well with the KF5 and the KF5 is exactly the same height as a Crown with a West Chaser friction tip from Cherry Vapes....KF5 is hefty as well due to the stainless construction....Not 100% sure but may add another Dagger....for sure gonna add a couple of D3s to the drawer and likely a 400 too the rotation.....Saw where UWell has a new tank on the way....Can't remember the name....Not the same as the Crown series...Also saw their Crown II RTA section....That looks good but not my intended purpose for the Crown II....plug and play for me...

Trust this.....It feels really good not having a brake job looming....I'm a body man not a mechanic....that's what I tell "em anyway.....Gonna go fill up the Ranger today and add some fuel injection cleaner in hopes of staying ahead of the game....Gotta start cleaning in the shop and take a lot of cast off parts to the junkyard...Also need to make a few trips to the old landfill....Temps are moderate in the upper 80s for the most part....storm clouds around atm and we had a for real monsoon last night when I had 2 packs of brats on the grill...Managed to get them cooked without drowning....All in all things are going good around the farm.....that will likely change

Hi Everyone,
I guess I have been living under a rock...not really, but I work long hours and I very rarely come to ECF since Not Cigs has closed. Of course I still vape, and with all the new regulations about to come into effect, please advise me on what nicotine I should buy.

I use 30ml a week at 18mg at 70/30 PG/VG. I found the Hypnotic Mist that I like, I know where to buy additional tanks and coils. I realize I need PG and VG, but I am confused about the nicotine on the RTS site.

Thanks!!

You basically pick what base you like the nicotine to run in, then the mg/ml. To keep it simple I tend to buy the PG base version -- pours easier.

30 ml x 18mg/ml = 540 mg of nicotine consumed in a week.if you use 100mg/ml nicotine base that would equate to 5.4 ml of it per week (540/100), or 9 ml of a 60 mg/ml nic base.

Many of us buy nic base by the liter. If you buy 100mg strength, a liter will last 1000/5.4= 185 weeks, a little over 3-1/2 years. If you buy 60mg/ml nicotine base, a liter would last 1000/9 = 111 weeks, 2 years and change.

For long term storage, a freezer is good to use, if you can. In my case I take a liter of 100mg/ml and split it into multiple 120 ml (4 oz) glass bottles. I put a bit of electrical tape on the cap thread and wrap the bottle in some bubble wrap, then stash it.

Nic is dangerous around kids 'n pets. No youngsters in our house, so I don't mind the wrapped nic being in our main freezer.Any adult who takes out a bubble wrap bottle, removes the wrap and the electrical tape, doesn't read the Nicotine label I put on the bottle wins a Darwin Award.

I use the little 120ml bottles based on my own consumption, since a single 120ml lasts me a long time (my weekly nic use is about 315 mg) 240-250ml/8 oz glass bottles are anther decent option.

I buy the RTS nicotine that's in a plastic bottle -- cheaper, and I'm going to split it into smaller bottles anyhow.

My Freedom Smokes and ecig express old and trusted vendors also carry 100 mg nic in liters or other strength and sizes also usually about 1/2 the price as RTS.

Thank you all for your reply, now, which is better? RTS or MTS. I'm on both pages and I see the prices (MTS is cheaper). I have read about RTS's reputation before and it was all good. I thought I read MTS has a little of a bitter flavor. Hypnotic Mist is not a heavy flavor and it's very light and I don't want any bitterness.

This is my only vice, along with cold brew coffee, which I do make at home. LOL
