Badasses.....The story of John Madden's Oakland Raiders though.....Yeah come Monday it'll be in the mail....Reading is fundamental.....In 1970 my Dad was a Little League baseball coach....I was on his team...4 teams with T-shirts and hats for uniforms....He took the last choice left....green and yellow....The Oakland A's...That fall I dropped the Cowboys in favor of the Raiders....Even now with a powerhouse team local I roll with Oakland.....

I hit the Sam's and got 7.5 lbs of the Pablo's Pride....Got the cold brew ready to hit the fridge after I log off...Wanting a Costco membership soon...All this getting the mortgage paid off soon and a couple of long running $100 bucks a month bills already gone...well you would think it'd bee all cake and ice cream....Just brings along a whole new set of worries...Best i can describe is I know what's gonna happen with all those bills hanging over my head and to be free of all that I've no idea what the future holds....Prolly some real damn nice fishing rods and reels and I can actually afford to put gas in my big boat....The boat with $400 worth of dead batteries in it...I tell you it never ends....I'm gonna go change the oil in my scooter and ride that beech some the next few days...A head full of weed and the open road....Hell I'll be more confused than ever.......Spike though....He ain't worried about much....

Not only do these work in the Melo 2 and 3 but, they are excellent for flavor and vapor IMHO.

Oh, wish that I would have posted that fact. Nobody here uses TC so I knew that the peeps that are in this thread would have no interest in them. Hopefully you will be able to get some next week though.

@DingerCPA , if you have ever used the Atlantis V2 coil, these are exactly the same.

I'd picked up a couple of Atlantises on a killer clearance some time ago. I have been using Melo coils, as well as the Triton RBA. I recently got the Melo RBAs (way easier to build!) I'm trying to be "self-sufficient", but there just are times I want to pop in a coil and GO.

No worries on the Ni coils. If I was more awake when I was filling my cart, I might have seen them! I am SO glad you shared that find tho. I have a kaboodle load of Triton Mini Ni coils for my Nautis. $0.18/coil was just too hard to let pass!!!!

I agree!!! The Melo ECR is so easy to use. I picked up a bunch from FT myself.

Oh, Efun has the Melo ECRs for 99 cent each right now. Not sure what the shipping would be though.

Yep. I use Melo 2 and 3 with the cCells. The mini is a tight fit with them so I felt better trying one of these coils in the mini 3 before saying for certain.

I'm trying to make some coffee extract for vaping. I didn't have a jug of PG open, and didn't want to crack open a gallon just for a small batch of extract so I used my VG/PG/DS nic-less base. This shizz is straining thru the coffee filter like molasses

Here's what I use, Oly. 180ml brown liquid medicine bottles, altho they are not glass. They work great for me, bought a case of them from Ebay for a little over $20.

I used TC quiet by accident last week.....had to pull the manual and get back to good old wattage....

Heck of a deal on those bottles....I use 480ml....not sure how many MLs in an ounce....

Round these parts if you're gonna steep you better mix a sheet load at once....Usually 4 480s here

Little experimentation here....Last time I was wrapping coils I theorized the coil was a "choke point" for the juice....Juice can wick up the cotton but if the coil pinches the wick there ain't gonna be no juice in there...The wick has gotta fit just right...Then the number of wraps increases the choke on the wick....Long/ short .....less wraps and a good fit with the wick and you're in business....So in my experiment I found that Clapton wire due to it's uneven surface allows more juice into said choke point....I also found that Cotton Bacon V2 seems to wick better than KGD....It's just better looking cotton for a wick but you're gonna waste some getting it sized for the coil...I'd been shooting for sub ohms with the Kayfun and Clapton.....My initial coils were 2.5mm 6 wraps with the Clapton wire at 1.5 ohms..I was sure it was gonna be less than .5ohms....Dropped a wrap to 5 and now ohming at 1.22....Less wraps less choke potential...I don't want my legs getting outta whack and not sure if 4 wraps will fit the Kayfun deck without bending the legs....Bottom line it was all working just fine for 2 weeks when I could tell it fell just a shade....The coil was gunked and the wick had some dark stain from the gunk....Even though I forgot to open the juice up fourty times after filling and vaped it dry the wick wasn't burned....I'd run that coil since the KF arrived and could have burned it and carried on....I'll continue to dial the set up but it's pretty good right where it is....The Kayfun V5/Cotton Bacon V2/Lightening Clapton wire all get my seal of approval....I also dumped the blue colored tank cause I'm old and can't see through that beech....the red one I can see through so it's still in service...It's a great matchy matchy with the red on the VT75......How a wire as fat as the Clapton ohms so high though....I still ain't figured that one out....I'm good with it though....
