Aw thanks for the offer Salem! I didn't grab any of those coils but I'm going to try some Atlantis coils in the tanks and see what he thinks of them.
Zoomball sounds like a blast!!!! I hope you enjoy every minute with your grandson! (I know you will!) ;)

Thanks, Tracy. I sure did have a blast with him. Only trouble was that I have an abscess tooth :( :( The pain started on Friday and of course my dentist is closed on Fridays.

I did get the on call assistant to call in some antibitics for me but, they take 48 hours to work and help to ease the pain. Good thing that I am a chronic pain patient and had my own meds to use. Pain meds can't be called in.

I was trying hard not to take anything but by early Saturday morning I was in too much pain. I was able to get the pain to ease off a bit but ended up feeling like a zombie most of the day.

We still had an excellent time though! We went to the festival and had a blast. We met some people there that own a popular haunted trail not far from us. Grandson loves that kind of stuff so after 9 hours at the festival, we went to Darkness Pines. I must say that they did an excellent job with all of the details there. We truly did have fun all day and all night. Feeling pretty exhausted today and so looking forward to a root canal just as soon as I can get my happy azz to the endodontist tomorrow ;)

BTW- Uwell is full of mud. With their reasoning and "scientific evidence" in mind I guess that we better avoid the sandy beach on windy days  If you believe that they care more about our health than their own bottom line, I have some swampland..................

I am so happy that you had a good time with GS, and it sure sounds fun!!!

The endo on the other hand...not so freakin much! Ugh! I will be thinking of you girl!!!

Lmao on your last paragraph!!! I am guilty as charged on the uwell post scaring the bejesus out of me!!!
I'm going to try to keep track of the c cells when they've been changed. Like I said it's all he Vapes on all day long and has 3 full size targets and 2 minis with guardian tanks so it's easy to feel like you are constantly changing those suckers out, when it could easily have been another.
Hahaha lemme see that swampland! :pervy::lol:

Ack, Uwell put out this long statement explaining why they were not making ceramic coils for their Crown Tanks. Saying that it was dangerous to use ceramic coils. Their reasoning was lame and they went as far as to have folks check yes or no at the end of the statement as to if they were willing to put their life in danger or some such nonsense. It was pretty low of them to do and I will not support that company in the future. Basically they are trying to harm the competition IMHO.

Bad news is that I have already had a root canal in this tooth. :( It is going to require surgery at this point and the fun part is that the Endo can't see me until THURSDAY. Only in freaking Podunk I tell you.

I have had this happen before and I lost the tooth and had to have a bridge put in. That is not an option in this case.

Hope you all are having a better Monday than I am having so far. :)

I missed the UWell discussion as well....I did watch the new UWell D1 beta review.....Tank within a tank....air flows from the top through the outer tank and up under the coil....Juice capacity is never mentioned....There's a reason that little tidbit of info was left out....Full size rig and I'll venture high with 3ml capacity....They say it won't leak but there is a catch cup....Pass

Now on ceramic......I don't use them simply because I don't like the tanks they fit....Combine that with a bad batch coming from Vaporesso and 3 of the 5 in my pack were duds....I coulda got by that no problem but the tank was the killer in that deal....Kayfun 5 was hitting and I went off in that direction.....Basically in a nut shell I ain't knocking ceramic coils and if you use them by all means carry on....Ceramics though....I use ceramics....Cutting edge products.....frying pans.....knives.....automotive bearings and related parts....At first the Chinese didn't have the technology....To high tech and the results were very high quality ceramics.....Heat was no problem.....being submersed in oil or grease was no problem....The ceramic cup on my welder gets way dang hotter than the coils in my rig....It's old as heck and still new....Oil and grease IMO are much more aggressive than say e juice.....I spent 10XX on a set of ceramic trailer bearings that are claimed too perform in the absence of grease.....I got "em greasy and they check as new after a couple of years....I saw some reports of coils turning too mush.....Ceramic simply isn't gonna turn too mush.....If it does it's an imposter....UWell.....I got some coils and tanks....No loyalty there at all....I'd go ceramic in a flash should a tank devolop that I like....Pretty sure they tried to get a ceramic coil working and not really sure what happened with that....I do know there's no way in Hell any Chinese company is concerned with our or anyone else's health.....

Checked the status of Hurricane Matthew a little bit ago...Early predictions have the eye missing NC by 150 miles....That's the eye....that hurricane is about 400 miles wide so there's that.....Then there's a little thing called an Atlantic Ridge that they say was underestimated....This am Florida's risk and our's was elevated...When it clears Cuba more will be known....Our Gubbner is on TV as I type....At any rate by Friday we're gonna be staring down the barrel of a loaded gun....Sheet as they say is about to get real.....

Yeah, we have our eye on Matthew as well. The latest that I have heard is-
Hurricane Matthew, the first Atlantic storm to swell to Category-5 since 2007, threatens much of the Caribbean this week, and could eventually impact Florida and South Carolina as well.
It's difficult to closely predict Hurricanes beyond three days into the future. Right now, the NOAA National Hurricane Center anticipates that Matthew will track east of Florida, broadly in the direction of Georgia and South Carolina.

But it's impossible to know precisely how powerful the storm will be at that point, or where exactly it will land. The National Hurricane Center anticipates the storm will remain a major hurricane through Wednesday, but has not released detailed projections for the following days, when it could strike the US.

Needless to say, my son and grandson will be back here at the end of the week should the need arise. They are directly on the coast. We are far enough inland that is should be safer here.

Salem, I'm sorry you have to wait so long for your tooth.

I found and read Uwell's statement about ceramic coils. I also noticed somewhere near the end of it that Uwell is going to be putting out a ceramic coil of their own that will be better than anything now on the market. That's where my bull sheet detector went off. I DO love, and will continue to use my Crown tanks with their original .5 SS coils. Not because of loyalty, but because it's what works best for me.

Like Dee, I have tried ceramic coils made by another manufacturer in my Crowns, as well as wasting money on the Krixus ceramic tank. All were no go's for me. I don't own any of the tanks that the cCells fit, and see no point in buying one since I'm already happy with what I have. I'm glad others like the ceramics so much...pretty low ball of Uwell to crap on them the way they did.

It's all about the money. Don't kid yourself into thinking any of these manufacturers give a hoot about our health.

Matthew, yeah...not the blind date I'm looking for!

Thank you all for weighing in on ceramic coils. Salem and I had a convo in pm going about it. I didn't want to alarm any ceramic coil lovers by posting publicly about it until I got other opinions first and I went straight to her with it bc she uses and loved them like we do. I'm not happy with how fast he goes through them but in all fairness, I will pay closer attention by writing down when I change them to know for sure. :)
It's a load off my mind to hear you all weigh in with your thoughts, as it did when she told me she thought it was all hogwash! :)
I hit mine occasionally, but mostly vape on Griffins, Cleito, pico, drippers and Kayfun. Have my eye on a limitless RDTA now. Thoughts? The side fill hole has me wondering about leaks.

Hope you all have a great night. I'm off to zzzzzzz land.

To my buds in the Carolinas, please be safe. Hate hearing of another hurricane heading your way!

Hoping the tooth is getting better....

As soon as I went to FB after posting here the UWell thing was right there....I didn't read it.....

Track on Matthew has shifted farther West....Not looking good for us.....The next few days are gonna be worrisome......We are under a state of emergency.....Anybody ever seen a 6 bay running on the generator???? Want me to tell ya'll about the time I was cooking brownies in the toaster oven powered by the generator when lightening struck it????? I still ate those brownies....Fekk that lightening....I best get to gassing up the generator I bought after the brownie incident.....Tonight Haiti is getting pounded by rain....I heard 40 inches possible...They just had that earthquake 2 years back and loss of life there is likely gonna be severe....Then Cuba followed by the Bahamas....then it's our turn.....I'm praying that beech stays out to sea....

Lynn....I'm 1/2 way between Fayetteville and Raleigh.....Deep in the woods near Raven Rock State Park....My second crib is located in Holly Ridge.....that's right behind Surf City.....

As it stands....Landfall predicted at Little River on the SC/NC line....exit NC at the NC/Va border....Sustained winds at Surf City somewhere around 125 with higher gusts.....To further complicate matters and just like when Fran laid us flat the ground is completely saturated....there is water standing where water normally doesn't stand....Unless something changes the eye of Matthew will pass very close to both of my places....Not really sure my trailer at Holly Ridge is capable of withstanding 125.....Guess we'll know Sunday....
