We use the B&D weed whackers, 1 at home and 1 at camp. The newer lithium battery versions are a huge improvement compared to the older tech.

Yep. I replaced the battery in my Neato Robotic vac with a Lithium Ion. Went from going back to base for recharge 3 times to get the entire house done to being able to do the entire house on a single charge. Gawd I love that thing.

My wired by an alarm company smoke detector is becoming very sensitive to vapor chuckin lately!!! Grrrrr! I no longer have it monitored externally and that's a good thing bc I set it off at least 4x a week as of late. They won't send anyone out to disconnect bc I'm not under contract anymore (of course not! I only paid them 5 years, I guess it's not enough) but they did tell me (after a little jersey attitude on my end)
how to disconnect it.
Seems I can either try another 3 volt lithium battery (in case it's misbehaving due to the backup battery life) or I need to mess with wire caps and such. Not sure which way I'll go.

This dang rehab center....First I bump into a long lost friend going to see his Mom....They caught his azz stealing prescription pads at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital....then he was writing his own....I got the feeling a couple days back he had pill issues...Then my good old buddy and manager at the Car Quest Tall Man as everyone calls him but me....his dad is a couple doors down from Mom...So yeah now me and Mr. Willis are friends too....My nicname for Tall Man is....SHORTY!!...Then there's a one time prior too divorce Great Aunt....Top all that to running into my ex coming in as I was leaving tonight....All up in there with her new Beau....also a dude I've known for years.....His Mom is there and I worked alongside her for a couple years....Still.....AWKWARD!!!! Least my decision to run her azz off a couple three years back was reinforced tonight....Thinking I may wear a disguise my next trip up there....
Thanks Tracy for the kind words....That ex up above once accused me of having an unhealthy relationship with Spike....Then over the summer a couple left their lab in a doggie prison on the deck at the beach...Out to eat with Bro In Law and Sis they wanted to hurry back in case I got ...... there was a dog on my deck....Hell I had him in the house with all the rest of the dogs.....Bro in law calls me a dog whisperer.....I find in life one should always find time to pet the dogs whenever possible....I like them they like me....Lily was my friend...My ex can kick rocks........
That whole dirt purchase rests solely on the price....It's about a 1/3 an acre...Covered with pines and to thick to cross through undergrowth....no sewer but city water....I got sewer on my side....My thinking is they'll shoot for the moon and it won't sell....Then I show up....That would put me with an acre and a half about three miles behind Topsail Island.....Time will tell.......

Speaking of animals, I had Sapph spayed a couple weeks ago.
She did great! Never bothered her incision once....no collar of shame needed.
Aside from tearing up every expensive bed I ever bought her, (she prefers a blanket to bunch up on) I've not had a better behaved dog. She's a lifer...right here with me!
