Sowwy, Salem, the beans are already ground. You'll just have to drink it up :)

(Personally, I prefer a cold brew or a french press, but still do a quick pot of drip in the morning. If you haven't done cold brew it is really worthwhile -- coarse grind, 12 hour steep on a countertop, filter. Great for hot coffee too, by adding 1/3 - 1/2 mug of water per 1/2 - 2/3 mug of the cold brew concentrate, then microwave)

Thanks for the simple directions! I really do want to try cold brew and will now.

A Billion Lives was great. I am not going to post any spoilers but, I think that most here that have been vaping awhile will really appreciate seeing some of the faces that are in the film as well. It gets a solid  from me.

Yeah all I got was a little receipt....No more hustling down there to make a deposit....Waiting on the credit union to call with my appointment to get all Mom's affairs in proper order....They offer the services of a lawyer to get everything out of her name/will/power of attorney for $$275....People told me to expect @1000 at a regular lawyer....There's a 5 year look back period until everything takes full effect should Mom have to go into a facility....I pray that never happens....

Spike is under the weather after his vet visit....He's also limping on his front leg....Usually they draw blood and stuff in the room....Took him back today and did it....Got me thinking that vet may be rough on the animals....Set said his gum was pushed up around one back tooth and that may be from chewing on his cow ear....Next time all work is in my presence only....Hate to have to send the vet to a doc....but I will.....in a flash......

Now I gotta vote and be at the funeral by 1 pm....

Congrats on the last house payment ElDee!!! That's awesome!
Hope Spike feels better soon.

Glad you enjoyed A Billion Lives Salem.

Voting....yeah I gotta do it too. I've never had an election that I've not been solidly behind one candidate like I'm not this year. Ugh.

LD please, never, ever let the vet or their techs take Spike out of your sight. If they have a problem with that, find a new vet. I learned this very quickly.

Remember me telling you guys about Lucy? My deeply loved CAG that passed 8 years ago? Well, her leg had been mutilated after it was broken by a "vet" this was before she came to live with us. Poor girl had to e on pain meds for the rest of her life. Once we got her and took her to our current good vet, it was too late for him to repair since it was all fused together :( :(

About 5 years ago I found out that the original vet was doing prison time for abusing animals. Kills me to think of what he did to her.

You will find plenty of info around the net about always having your pet in your presence when anything is done to them at a vet. The only ones that will take issue with it are the ones that you don't want to be near Spike. :2c:

Morning folks :)

Hope Spike gets better quickly, Dee!

Yep, I got up this early so I can get down there to vote, but waiting on Katie (who was having a hissy fit last night) to wake up.

Ugh. (((Hugs))) Bov. I have to take my mom for an oxygen test this afternoon. Not looking forward to it although she has been on good behavior lately.

Last time my sister took her for this test, my mom showed her behind in their office by throwing a fit. Embarrassed the crap out of my sister.

Hiya folks!

I rocked my vote this morning! After hearing the horror stories of 2-3hr lines for the early voting sites, I don't think 45 minutes in line was too bad this morning.

ElDee - I haz happy's and sadz for you. My condolences on Aunt C. Best I got for you is that she's no longer in pain or is suffering....

Big :w00t: on getting the house paid off!!!!!!! I can only DREAM of ever achieving THAT goal

I've been having no luck on my warranty repairs from the responsible parties (vendor & manufacturer). I sent them a last try email today. If they refuse to honor their written warranty I'll file complaints with the three pertinent states plus FTC (interstate commerce).

It's really dumb to not honor a warranty, insane to draw negative attention. Ahh, well, their choice...

Honestly, I can fix one myself, and I expect the other is a board fail, which evolv is good about.

I'll file complaints because manufacturers and vendors need to be held accountable for honoring warranties that they have chosen to provide.
