My brother was a diabetic from age 19. He was on pills until a month before he passed away. In the hospital they gave him shots. His passing was from non diabetic reasons.
I have quite a few friends who are diabetic. Some Type 1, some Type 2. You all will probably recoil at this (those of you who know the whole history) but my ex was a big help to me the couple of days he was here. He's Type 2, had my glucose meter all set up for me, and talked me down when I freaked over the high numbers. Lots of good suggestions.
He has always been on oral meds, the metformin they put me on. The only time he had to take insulin shots was while he was in prison, where carbs is all they feed you...and all you can get from the commissary. Since he's been out, he's stable again on just the oral med.
Anyone want the Hawaiian Poke Cake I made for Thanksgiving? Yellow butter cake soaked with a can of sweetened condensed milk, and a can of crushed pineapple poured over it

I went for the therion bf. The inbox had reports of slightly weak door magnets, knowing me I'd get annoyed fast if the door popped loose periodically when squonking.

Diabetes.......DANGITT!!!!!!!!!!!! Hoping the meds get that under control....When I had all those liver function tests done my sugar was normal....Thankful as I'm addicted to sugar....
Looking forward to impressions of the Therion Squonker.....Word on the street is a battery change is a real beech...Hoping not....
Took the KF5 with the seized threads to the shop and tried to bring it back from the dead....had it working fine and when I finished the refilling of juice Hell Yeah stuck again....All is fine except that last rotation to shut the juice off for filling.....Said the Hell with it and left it open and filled....No leaks so we'll roll wid it....
Let me tell you that my cuzzin asked my Mom to say the prayer at a family gathering Wednesday evening...Mom has been struggling to regain her wits and 30 minutes later she finished her prayer....Trust this right here....The minute Mom is unable to attend these functions some people will never see me again....I'm white trash to those people anyways....Thursday night dear Auntie had a gathering for the real family.....Sister to the one who asked Mom to say the prayer shows up unexpectedly to get her pups nails trimmed....I won that dogs complete trust in less than 5 minutes and trimmed his nails without a hint of resistence....The dog just like everyone else doesn't trust them.....Getting busted having a private affair......Priceless I tell you....I know they hating....

Today my Raiders play the local Panthers....Hoping for one more in the win column....Work as always is waiting and I'll try and get a little done.....Gotta do a little diplomatic work and try and sell a job...Should I be successful I'll then have enough funds saved to start looking for a new truck in earnest....tacomas ain't cheap.....better get with it !!!!!!!!!!!

I watched Todd's Reviews on the therion bf. It looks like battery change is easy as long as you pop the little separator out from the bottom end.
Fasttech has the SXK Hadaly clone for $12, code MAP. It comes with a squonk pin. I've also got a couple of 3mm bf pins coming from fat daddy, to convert my NaRDA clone
