Good morning all !!!

Super glad to hear the encouraging news Fran [emoji1360]

I agree with Tracy… Taco truck photos

Mark I'm glad you're diggin the Therion BF. My preferences have always leaned towards how small can you make it… I once tried to buy Zoolander's cell phone LOL

Since I still haven't "Looked" for the SMY, my search for a small 75 lead me to the sbody 75 and the hcigar 75 Nano and both smaller than the SMY. I just pulled the trigger last night for the hcigar for 74.95 free shipping.
Nano does look quite nice, the only thing I didn't like about its big brother was the cap needed care in threading when changing batteries. Nano might be better due to the smaller diameter, though starting by twisting the cap CCW until the threads drop into place is always a safe bet.

The BF is too large to be practical for a lanyard setup, but I love the eliquid capacity and being able to use a nice RDA; I'm a flavor person, and the Hadaly with its BF pin is just perfect for me. Little Bear agrees:

Good Evening folks!

Fran, sounds like "promising" news for hubby? ElDee, good luck with the vehicles! I have to take one of mine on a bit of a road-trip to get it serviced and to figure out why I have some unwanted "blinkies" on the dash  Then, it's going to take a major roadtrip down South. Just don't have enough time to do all the things that I probably should be doing.... So, I'm sitting here in front of my computer talking to y'all!!!!!!!

This Sunday, we're doing our annual "Souper Bowl" after church. Bring a pot of soup/stew/chili - samples for a quarter; bowls are a dollar. Most money wins "Braggin' Rights" and the contributions will support our missions work and our church relocation fund.

Been racking my brain for a "killer" recipe, but I'm not feeling the "love" this year. So, I think I'm going with a good ol' fashioned Hearty Chicken Noodle Soup. Rotisserie chix from the store, chunks of carrot, celery, onion simmered in broth/stock. Egg noodles added near the end so they don't get gummy/rubbery.....

I'm not sure about everyone's palates - I can knock out a pretty decent Hot 'n' Sour soup, but my time and energy levels are pretty minimal at the moment. There's always next year ;)

Dinger you're making me hungry!!! I am the queen of hitting post reply BEFORE proofreading....so if I ever call you Finger, please forgive my autocorrect! (I just looked up and was mortified at that very thing!) blasted phone!!!
I just made a big ol pot of creamy potato soup. My cousin goes in for a colostomy (hopefully reversible) on Wednesday and has to eat nothing but soups, jellos, and such until then. I thought it the perfect time to make and take her some. (That and oyster stew) :)

Mark, I'm diggin those coffees!!! Thumbs up from me and thank you again my friend for your generosity!

Hope you all have a great night!!!

the only thing I didn't like about its big brother was the cap needed care in threading when changing batteries.

Everything I'd read on the Nano said it would have been 5 star but gave it a 4 due to the cap. I don't think it will be an issue at all other than the 8 seconds longer to get it threaded :)

Well my PG was USP.....Yay !!!!!

HCigar and those dang threads....My first impression was not good....sharp threaded SS cap....soft alloy body....So far it's still going fine but I'm extra careful and always CCR to hear it click in...75% of the time it goes right in....the other 25% is a major PITA.....Then there's the finger grooves in the cap for tightening/loosening...There is no natural hand motion possible....I mostly get it started and then spin the mod while holding that blasted cap...Still though all is holding up....I did use a dot of race engine assembly lube on those threads to prevent the galling SS is famous for...Any light oil will do....Anti-seize??? A dot of that you can paint the earth with and with those nice clothes.....better not.....

Got some loose ends to tie up on the Ranger and then it's sold....Got some parts dropped off I sold on the Craigs this am....I deliver so as not to have strangers seeing what's in my shop....That kazillion worth of tools needs to stay here....Insurance after that....Then the DMV.....Credit Union for the monthlies and finally at the parts house getting a couple of Taco maintenance pieces and ordering an AC hose for the Ranger....I put that hose on about a year ago and it is defective....Gonna see tomorrow if a comp is offered for the freon not to mention the labor...It would be nice but I'm not demanding it as I've gotten more than my fair share of discounts....I bought the Taco from a utility lineman....he cleaned it up himself prior....Now I gave it the bumper to bumper and drove across the state due to the Taco's mileage....It's 14 years old and that generation of Taco hasn't been produced in 13 years....Manager at the parts house about broke his neck getting out to look at it....Said it was dirty...It could be cleaner and will be but dirty???? Old boy bought a Corvette off a used car lot about 6 months back....Prolly cause it was clean....Hey I'm good with it....

Morning,Dinger:) I could use some of that motivation too.

How are you doing, Darlin'?

Toilets have been scrubbed. The tub has been sprayed with bleach/cleaner. Floor in the main bathroom has been mopped. Need to clean the window, sinks and mirrors next ;)

Me too, Fran! I'm not a very good Suzie Homemaker! Would rather do the yard work!!

Soups and Taco sound like they are all falling into place just fine. Congrats again, Dee!

Katie is in a new phase with her dementia that I don't know how to handle. She's convinced we have "kids" coming into the house and stealing her stuff. This morning she says one of them kicked her in the .... before running out the door. I'm not sure if she's having vivid dreams that she thinks are real, or if it's delusions. I know it didn't happen, no one is coming into the house, but I don't know how to reassure her without making her feel dismissed, unbelieved. :(

I've read deep into alzheimer's/dementia due to the experiences with my Granny years back....In a nutshell the brain feeds off ketones....Through time it may quit feeding on the ketones in a normal diet....UF Gainsville did a study bankrolled by big pharma years back....some chemical in a coconut oil base....UF found the coconut oil alone provided reversal in the effects of alzheimer's/dementia.....All you need is about a tablespoon a day....more is better....Mom has known history and I got her on coconut oil....so far no signs....Then there's the oil derived from the illegal plant.....Everything is what it is on that subject....It would take hours to gloss over my research....Google is your friend....Bottom line is both oils work wonders....My belief is that a non-psychoactive CBD oil in combo with coconut would provide major improvements for Katy....That non-psychoactive is readily available and legal.....Palmetto Harmony would be a good place to look.....

Truth is I was a little ...... about the dirty comment....I've repaired cars/trucks torn all to Hell since "80....I'd much rather walk up on a prospective purchase in an as is state verses professionally detailed....Trust I was my usual .... self looking over that Taco.....Plans today are a tire rotation and a new pcv valve....Then a little more cleaning action Tuesday when it will be in the 60s verses the 40s today....I had an option for an 02 Taco that was very nice...5K additional though...Where I'm at I can get everything El Dee spec with a new set of tires and wheels for way less than that 5K....and we should be able to ride on for years and years....So far I'm pleased with my purchase....After that tire rotation it's Ranger time....Hoping to have it gone by Tuesday/Wednesday...Somebody needs to coil/wick 2 Kayfuns as well....It's been months....They're still chugging but like I said....months....

@908Tracy, the Homestyle Chicken and Noodle Soup is on the stove ;) I'm not sure what I've done, but I think it actually tastes GREAT. Since I don't want the noodles to get all gummy, but I need them cooked for tomorrow, I'm going to ladle off the hot soup on the dry noodles in the crockpot and just let it sit overnight. Should soften the noodles enough that when I get it back on heat, all will come together without being mushy. {crosses fingers that this works}

@El Dee - brother, I wish I had your knowledge and drive to work on vehicles like you do. I so need to consider a new vehicle this year to replace my 15-yr-old SUV. The body is in immaculate shape, but there are a number of "internal" issues that I don't think are worth trying to fix. I just keep trying to put away a little bit of money each month to help prep for funding another vehicle.
