I'm sorry to hear that Fran.

Mark I had a thought, hopefully not a day too late, to look through my stuff. I have 25 (no need to ask Why LOL) 510 to ego adapters and one 510 510 short extender.
If you haven't bought any yet let me know and I'll send them to you. If you have bought one I'll send you some of the ego adapters for practice to see if you want to drill it out... let me know.

Thanks for the offer!

I ordered a couple of the smoktek 510 extenders that I think will work (look like they have the squonk version positive pin)' but a couple of ego format adapters would be good to try as backups.

I was checking lanyards yesterday, it looks like fasttech may have one with a nice thin ring, perfect for use with the tight space available on a 510 extender.

Thanks ya'll I'm back at around 99%....

The Crown 3 was harsh on the hit...I played watts and played watts....Finally cranked it to 40 watts and it smoothed out pretty good there....Maybe more wattage is in order....

Off to the Toyota speakership to pick up my grille emblem and then the recent upgrades will be a wrap....Time now for some new tires and those new FJ Cruiser TRD wheels I've been hoarding....Wheels are the same spec as the ones on there now so no alternation to the track width of the truck...Wider than stock track width adds stress to the suspension and kills my soul...I scored those unobtanium wheels from some Toyota dealership in the City of Industry, California....I'm guessing it must be an industrial area....Still what kinda name is that???? Dang old mower holds 14 gallons of gas and is down to the last couple of drops and the grass is knee high due to the rain....Then there's the beach grass that's sitting on about 4 weeks growth....I also promised to cut Unk's grass so looks like I best get my jazz to the fuel store and to mowing.....Not really sure which way to even turn right now but something must get done that's for sure.....

Yeah....I'm watching for the letter from the town saying they'll cut the grass if I don't...Got one about 10 years back....

Well I sat down with Auntie today....She has told the fam Unk has stones in the right kidney as he does....the stint is keeping it open so it will drain....Then the ton of bricks fell....Left kidney has shrunken and is not functioning at all....it also has a cyst....Top that with the bottom tip of a lung showing abnormalities of some kind...Auntie said he had been coughing for over a year and the now fired Doc that said all this was a bulging disc claimed the cough was from medication....Worse still I'm the only person besides Auntie and her 2 kids that knows the full extent....Life will beat your azz into the ground...One thing is sure I never tap out....Unk mentioned he saw an early Honda SL 70 on the tv auction....I wore one out in the early 70s....Talk went to my first bike a Honda Mini Trail 50....Unk's Mom died about 6 months back....In her barn there's a Mini Trail 50 and Unk said it's mine.....I searched in vain for mine and never found it....It's always been barn kept but nearly 50 so I hope there's something to work with.....Unk has always had my back and now it's time to repay....

Hi all!

Mid 80s and sunny today. We had a late morning vet trip (planned), then out to home depot and camp,

A couple of small wooden boat accessories boxes I built near the lake edge had been lifted and moved in the flooding. They were both attached to concrete blocks but had enough buoyancy to lift off (I have solid shingle roofs, so air cavities).

I'm redoing the blocks before putting up the boxes again. Filling the cores with concrete, plus raising them a bit more, each box will then have multiple hundred pounds of anchoring.

I'm being lazy, going for quick and dirty fast set concrete. It costs more, but I don't want to break out the mixer (lake edge is far from an outlet). Anyhow, did 1/3 of it today, got an accurate estimate on remaining material to pick up, should complete it tomorrow. DW wants to go kayaking, I need to get the lakeside setup clean so we aren't schlepping stuff back and forth.

DW said she's grilling tomorrow, steak, asparagus, corn [emoji3]

Got and sunny today and tomorrow. I already planned on tomorrow off, will also take a half day today.

Concrete and bolts are in for the larger box at camp, the smaller one should go fast (the first is always slower, working through things).

The rough part is going to be lifting the boxes back up. They are moderately hefty, with shingled roofs. DW and I should be able to do the smaller box, ask neighbors to help with the larger.
