So thrilled for you Bov!!!! It’s just perfect!
I want to downsize when my older girls get places of their own and your house is a great example of what I am imagining to have next. <3

ElDee you’ve given er hell all summer!!! How bout that REST we keep reminding you of? When’s that happening? :)

Fran, I picked up 3 baby African violets with you in mind to go into those pots that are working so well for you. Wish me luck! I’ve had them since Tuesday but letting them acclimate a bit first from the move. I figure too much stress at once can’t be a good thing. Hopefully they will get enough sunlight in this old house. Stay tuned!

Congratulations Bov !!! I can guarantee you won't be using your snow shovel again.....I always cringed when I saw those snow pics.....

908 the way things are going I'm planning on working till lunch on the day of my funeral.....

Went and checked the French doors at the Re-Store....$$350 for a new or used one....Lowes has them cheaper but I suspect the Re-Store doors were much higher quality....Not my research to do though....Got back home and played a coat of stain on the lattice under the front porch....Gotta add a second coat on the rails/pickets/lattice on the front porch tomorrow....Then I get to roll the breezeway and paint the front steps twice....I've mopped at least 4 gallons of stain with a 2.5 inch brush....Just about sick of that dang brush....bet that....Soon it will all be done..........

Fingers crossed. They do fine here with not that much sun.

Bov, congrats! It's a great feeling to own your own home [emoji3]

My Spryte bit the dust when i got the pack of proper size replacement coils in, not firing. It only ran one coil, about 12ml. The coils are fine, fire if I place them directly across the contacts. I don't know if one of the contacts has settled in the mod, or something is flaky with the pod (the cap is clean); either way, that performance is unsat.

I went back and relooked the Simple Ex. I have multiple 20700 squonkers, mech and regulated, but still wanted to get one really small setup. MyVPro "Laborday" gets one at $46 incl. taxes/shipping, and I can use a Wasp nano rda (got several) if I don't like the one it comes with; a green one is on the way [emoji5] (Thanks for mentioning it El Dee - it'll be my alternative to mucking with the pods)

I'd seen the Simple on a FB post and just assumed at least an 18650...I'm running Apple products here now and my chargers have changed...That is why I didn't order a Simple....Still there's stuff like size and ergonomics that I really like....Never used anything other than VV or VW either and I liked the fact the Simple was...well...simple VV.....No taking a hit and seeing your Pulse had decided on it's own to hit 42 watts....The Pulse is serving me well ....the only knocks are a mind of it's own and the battery is a little difficult to get out sometimes....I've already buggered up the positive end on one 20700....It's tight and those batts aren't best described as durable....Was planning on pairing the Simple with a Nixon but the short cap and even shorter tip squashed those plans as well....Still though I might get a Simple....Let us know how you like it and ENJOY !!!

Congrats:wub: Perfect little house for you. What's the first project?

Thank you all!! My first project is to just relax and let my nerves settle! My loan officer seemed intent on keeping me on edge these last few months, reminding me at every chance that she has seen deals fall apart as late as sitting at the closing table over questionable credit. Truth be told, I'm glad to be done with her!

My buyer's agent gifted me a box of champagne gummy bears and a gift card for Ace Hardware! A very kind, thoughtful, and cute gesture :)

Next week's priority will be getting Uhaul to bring my storage container so I can unload my stuff...and my OWN bed!

Tracy, good luck with your African violets. Dee...take a break!!

On the pulse 80w, if you have the 0.6 firmware loaded, pressing + and fire locks power. The only gotcha is if you remove and replace the rda, press - to keep the existing power setting.

(Hoping they fix that in a new firmware, so the power stays at whatever you have set when you do an rda remove/replace)

Think I figured out the problem Mark....When I pull the atty for a fill the Pulse always asks new atty + = yes - = no....I always hit + even though it was the same old same old...Rewarded most times with 42 watts when it had been @34....Hit - tonight and the wattage was where I set it at 32....I move it from 35~30 depending

Finally there are no more pickets to stain....Been on the front pickets and rails 3 dang days and wore down from it....Got the lower walls in the breezeway taped up and most of the floor clean and ready for stain...I'm rolling that breezeway tomorrow and then brushing out the front porch....Should have a knot in it Monday if the weather holds tight.....

Same with me. I run 0.39 ohms at 34w, if I accidentally press+ it goes to 40 [emoji3]

I'm hoping they'll fix that in the new firmware, mentioned it to Tony b right after 0.6 came out. A new build should be out soon, when the pulse x comes out.

Dee, glad you have the bulk of that staining in your rear view mirror!

I haven't got my curtains the way I want them yet, Fran. They are just covering the windows right now since I didn't want to be putting holes in the walls in case the deal fell thru. Yesterday I mainly just relaxed, did my laundry...and ordered a big effing tv!! Labor Day sale combined with a very nice moving discount coupon, I scored a 55" 4k led smart tv for an outstanding price...it'll be here late next week. Hoping I can find a great deal on a sofa. Gotta get my new chop saw unboxed and ready to rock n roll so I can build a tv stand  I've been really liking the industrial pipe and wood builds I'm finding on Pinterest.

    Maybe something like this...

For our place I ended up building a full entertainment center, to get just what I wanted in the space for the tv. Plexiglass door (cut with a circular saw) to shelves holding a receiver, cable box, cd player, with a couple of cheap muffin fans in the back to provide ventilation. 3 drawers for cds/DVDs and misc storage.

In the br I also built a custom bureau, along with a pair of bookcase/storage units bookending the bed.

Everything was low cost pine. I used decent quality drawer hardware from HD or Lowes, better than the stuff in our "nice" store-bought dresser and bureau set.

I do a lot with Lowes. There's a place to always get 10% off coupons for just over $2; I'll build up a list of stuff for a project, then do a single buy.

Harbor Freight has a sweet deal on a wall mount for big TVs....Used one at Mom's.....As usual you need a coupon...I get a book from the Freight monthly...Saw they had some magnets with key hooks...Yeah I need some of those...Toolbox and fridge...then maybe the key search will be easier....My Granny passed in 2003...I followed her out of her house....watched as the ambulance left and never, ever returned....Vultures cleaned out the house and all that was left was a china cabinet and server from the early 60s...I got a call and a delivery of both...Years later I also got 2 inquiries asking if I would be willing to give them up...LOL...Hell Naw....The server made an excellent TV stand and the china cabinet has a million CDs in it along with other precious junk....

Niece turns the magical 16 today...Should be returning from the Bahamas today...I shot down to the local grocery and got a chocolate cake decorated yesterday....Dang old grocery makes bomb cakes...I bought cake for months when Aunt Azalee was sick and then passed....Not caring to go on Unk Carlton went to be with Auntie Z about a month later...That left a hole....I bought cake.....178 lbs I ain't eating much cake though....

Got the breezeway and front porch stained with coat #1....#2 should be the kill shot....Got the brushes and stuff clean and heard thunder....watched on the phone from Mom's garage as a single thunder cell dropped a bomb...Trapped in there due to lightening and rain I watched as it washed the stain off the last two steps...Off to try that again....

I agree with Mark, Dee! We need rain here, heard thunder several times yesterday but the showers stayed to the south of us. We went from rain every day to nada.

Your entertainment center sounds great, Mark. My skills and budget match "rustic" much better tho

I think I'll hit HF again today and pick up a sander. I have a drill and a few other tools in my storage...I gotta get them to deliver my U-Box this week so I can unload the rest of my stuff.

Well Kia made it through another Typhoon, the strongest in 25 years. The glass siding doors were rattling so bad they stayed in the bathroom all day and power is out over 1 million homes. She sent an all clear right before her phone died.
