Katie won't ask anyone else to pick her up on their way to church. There are plenty of folks in her congregation who would if she let them know she can't drive.

It's barely been a week since Katie broke her arm, and I'm already like this...
All is well in my world...I chose the path of least resistance concerning the driving issues and made no comment...Seems to have worked....I'ma gonna try and keep my mouth shut more often from here on out....
Getting registered on a Government surplus sales site is a for real beech...I had so much trouble last night they thought I was a robot...Demanded a photo ID emailed too them so I went ahead with a new phone and fekked that up to...Finally I did get a pic attached....the buttons between the phones are no where near the same...I'm working on it!!!
Polishing away on those wheels still...Should be an awesome combo when finished and on the cheap as well...Well a little money and a hell of a lot of work...Spike has been supervising and watching the perimeter....
Road tripping too Wilmington to scope on that compressor tomorrow...new that girl was 7K...Pump was cast in 07 so not sold until sometime after that...Pump has been in production since the 40s with a few improvements thru the years...This is the latest design with an oil filter, hydraulic unloader valve and the upgraded bigger air filter...A real friggin beast...Wish me luck !!!!

I am dashing off to the docs with Maddie...another cold needing a peek at, along with another school note so it doesn't count against her. Then the lovely food shopping adorns the list. Grand!!! Just how I love to spend a day off.
Speaking of days off, we just moved to the new location this week and I now will work Mon, Wed, and Fri. and can add hours as needed from there. I rather enjoyed the 3 in a row then off for 4, but hey, I still have a job and I am very grateful for that!
Christmas shopping is nearing the end, just a few more things to do. Then it's wrapping like a fool this weekend!!!

The most interesting thing I saw yesterday...Well other than Ted Cruz' gift too the Dems....Bushmaster Firearms has been sued by the families effected in the Sandy Hook tragedy...The suit is based on statement the Government made on the AR15 when it first came out of production...It could cripple Bushmaster and set precedent...I'm neutral on the issue...The government stated the AR15 was designed for close quarters combat in a calibur designed for inflicting the most damage possible...

I'm back. Got new DSL modem yesterday and I lost everything. 4 hours on the phone with tech got me a wi-fi connection. Need Network Card for desktop.

Dee, I had to laugh just a little about you and the gov't website sign up. I got rejected from the gov't social security site for answering questions about myself "incorrectly!" They are supposed to match my answers against my credit report, so the rejection set off a trip to Credit Karma to make sure there were no mistakes on my report. All was as expected there, and after the 24 hour lock out, I was able to create my account on the SS site
Tracy, give Maddie hugs from us! Hope she feels better quickly! Did our grocery run yesterday, but Katie decided to stay home. Sounds great, right? She wouldn't tell me what all she wanted so I could make a list, she just said "you know what I like, just get a few things." That screaming pic I posted yesterday was after I got home with lots of "wrong" stuff...because it came from Wal Mart instead of our usual grocery store! Does Mott's apple sauce taste different depending on where ya buy it?! Welches Grape juice?

Fran I run a wifi card here...Ran a Verizon for years and now with Virgin Mobile...Was 55 per month for unlimited and recently changed to 55 for 3 GBs....that lasts me @ 3 weeks....So looking for a new deal e ohh I came across AT&T's unlimited for 55 when buying my new phone...Well the card had been removed from display and the plan removed from the store's computer...AT&T recently released U-Verse that's supposedly the fastest horse in the barn...and not available too those of us residing in the woods..My options were limited to many bundles with cell, home, tv and interweb....I don't think so....or stay put with Virgin....This game is rigged...First Verizon pulled out the rug and now Virgin has done the same....No loyalty too the customer base....

Fran I have 6 Gateway laptops here that won't hook up to WiFi without one of those USB thingies. The computers are fine they read a good strong signal but the microsoft code has so many switches that it's just easier to go with usb. Besides you can use it on any usb device for wi fi.
LD I feel your pain on them sites. My fingers are so big whenever I have to use that little tiny keypad on my phone I hit 2 or 3 numbers at once. I was trying to get hooked up on the jury duty site with the automated caller thing and every time I had to push another set of numbers I messed them up. I tried around 12 times then I called the place next door to get their landline number because they don't give an un-automated one out.

Thank you all5 Sunday night when I was registering it said there was a problem...So I went back a couple of more times and fired another shot at it...Now they're paranoid I'm a robot and require I send an e-mail with my a copy of my liscense...So I take a pic and fire off two emails without it attached....Finally I got it on the third try...Then I still had to call this morning...Got it straight now...
Went and laid eyes on the compressor...Pretty much an unused unit with a little damage from being moved around...So far I'm still atop the leader board on the bids...They got the same system as e-bay so I can place a bid that will cover too a certain amount...Hoping things don't get crazy but with no shipping as is where is I may have an advantage...
