Good luck LD. I buy a lot of stuff off ebay but they're getting crazy with their bidding there.

The way I got out of the jury thing is I ask the lady if they let people that just got out of the penitentiary a month ago on their jury. She said we send these to everyone you're excused. I didn't say it was me but she took it that way.

On Spike's nature call a couple of hours ago we heard what sounded like a small dog bark...bark after bark but only one bark at a time...Spike was barking and looking that way...Scanning with the flashlight I caught a Bobcat's eyes as it jumped over a downed limb...The cat was making a beeline for Spike...All I could do was summon Satan and jump into the fire...Somehow it worked...I never did see the cat turn but we did hear the bark several more times from a greater distance...Scouts honor....I will kill that cat...Then I went out after my shower and scanned the perimeter...I figured Spike may need a trip out since the last one was interrupted...Damn if there wasn't a herd of eyes this time and very near where the cat had been...99% sure they were deer but most times the deer will stop and look back...Whatever it was never did but still thinking they were deer and likely the cat was after them when it heard Spike...The 12 gauge goes by the back door in the am...Whatever........, cat or coyote...I'm sick of that sheet right now...

I only added 15 bucks too the compressor bid just to see how fast it went thru...I thought it would have been shot down by now but still I'm on top...I fully expect the situation will blow up in the final minutes...

5 you're correct on the crazy bidding...Every item I've watched on the bay has gotten into the retail range lately...I buy from the State Surplus as well...Three weeks back there were two explosion proof cabinets and one of those flammable rag buckets...I remembered my old boss complaining about the high costs of those cabinets so I shot him a pic and told him to make an offer...They're his now!!!!!!! I've bought more than a few of the regular steel cabinets for 25 when they have them...If they're really nice they have been 35...They will fight over those cabinets on the Craigslist...Last week there was a complete brand new strapped on the pallet Coleman rooftop AC unit for 50...Bet your .... I loaded that in the truck and never brought it home...Deals are hard to find...You gotta be lucky and you gotta hustle...Like 240 miles in a 1/2 day just to see a compressor that you may not get...

Bov it's probably 30 feet of clear and then the woods begin out my back door...I've taken to heading out first and looking around before letting Spike out...That damn dog knows no fear...On the last trip out to check there was a big old owl right out the back door...He flew...I hit the deck...Just about sick of these dang animals....

I've seen Bobby the Cat on many occasions..Last night Spike was about 20 feet away when I saw the cat coming from around 70 feet...Couple of years back I saw Bobby moving thru and went in a big circle ending near his suspected line of travel...My only quick option that day was an AK47...Sure enough here he came but my neighbors house was in the line of fire though 3 or 400 yards away...I still passed and the cat went the wrong way for a clear shot...Now the cat has escalated the situation and I must do the same...No AK this time...That thing is greasy and somewhat of a memory to me now...Outta sight outta mind kind of thing....

Dr appt with Katie went very well. They took the splint off and gave her a cast below her elbow so now she can move her elbow, much less bulk around her thumb and fingers. She went for the hot pink, and she's looking real fashionable Her new x-rays looked good...we go back in a month when Dr Veltri hopes to remove the cast.

Dee, when I had my house out in the boonies in Florida, we had problems with coyotes. Within the first week of buying it we chain linked the back yard because we had a small dog who also knew no fear. This coyote family would be right outside our back door every morning, the fence at least gave me the freedom of not seeing Cinnamon ambushed before I could take a look. Never had to shoot any of them, they eventually moved on to a new spot.

The compressor bidding war has begun...Yeah I added an extra zero in my last bid and just about died when I saw it...Got that fixed and waiting for the next round of bidding....

So far tonight the yard is devoid of carnivores...One dang old thing is for sure....soon they'll all know that old boy has a bad azz shotgun...made in Belgium dontcha' know!! Last night had me rattled...Just not a very good feeling at all...Killing anything like that isn't exactly what I want but there isn't much choice....

I gotta finish up my shopping and nary a clue on what too buy....

Looking at other deals making sure this one is OK...Found out only Quincy and Champion make compressors in the good old USofA...That's sad right there...This compressor is a Quincy...

LD I usually set a watch on ebay stuff. Then set my highest bid and wait until theres 5 seconds or less and fire because otherwise someone. if they have time, will outbid me. Sometimes that don't work because they have a higher bid set. Then there's the times I'm not going to be around when it's over. I picked up an old gateway that worked thats busted up for 20 bucks. Going to put the mobo in another nice case I got so I can get rid of some of these laptops.
You should lock up or chain your animals for a couple days and set traps with some nice snacks for that cat.

Five next time around I will link you to my local State Surplus...They always have a dang ton of lap tops, desk tops and all kinds of hardware for cheap...I just got into a hellacious argument the other day when a fellow said he baited hooks with meat for the coyotes...Hooks or poison I won't be a part of....Now a nice pile of bones or such...placed in the beam of my light rig...Either they get a meal or I get a shot...

Fran for the money spent I find Toshiba hard to beat...Toshiba Satallite Series to be exact...It gets me by great!!

It was one hell of a bidding war on the compressor...I just got in the truck and cut the block with an eye on the clock...Came in the back door with 10 minutes left and then waited an incredibly long time for Avast to load!!! I finally got an eye on the bid with three minutes and some change...sure enough they had diced me up pretty good...I set the deal up so I could see all the bids and their increments so I smoked that over and fired away...I was short by $5 but didn't know the amount so I fired again and got the top spot...With seconds left I jacked another Benjamin in the chamber and pulled the trigger when ***BAMM*** Auction Ended flashed up...Best of all the ding dang thing said winner......EL Dee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only $6 above my maximum set....Trust the adrenaline is still pumping or I likely wouldn't have typed so much....I"m calling BREAK TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
