We had the water running all night. My wife turned it off, really forgot to drip it after breakfast and it frozen in just a few hours. That's the north side of a very old house and the last part of the house that need to be remodeled. It will be fixed sooooooooooooooon :p We have plastic pipe so normally they don't brake when it thaws out. finger crossed. We dont have much snow for this time of year and why they froze up so fast.

It is funny now that we have a pellet stove i have to wear shorts all winter becasue it get too hot in the house for me.

I understand the cold, they're calling for a low of 45º overnight....... Why does God hate Cali so ?!?!?

LOL, where you been, Wharf? I figured that you were laying low and trying to stay warm there the last few weeks. Didn't you guys just have a cold snap run through your area?

Good Morning. :vapor:

LOL, that reminds me so much of my FIL, Wuzz. My husband was in the hospital for an extended amount of time some years ago. I slept in the waiting room along with his parents. I woke up one night and noticed my FIL missing from the waiting room. I went looking for him and he was huddled between two soda machines trying to soak up the heat from them HA! In his defense, it was an unusually cold winter for Charleston and hospitals do keep it cold but, that cracked me up

When my Bride was having her port put in it was decent weather and I never thought about wearing a jacket to the hospital. They keep that floor frigid to keep down bacteria. The nurses saw me shivering and took pity. They kept bringing me the warm blankets they use on patients and hot coffee. True Angels of mercy.

Here it's not bad this morning balmy 12 no wind no sun. chance of reading BS today somewhere is pretty high. So it sounds like the train will be running on time. All in all a great morning to start the day. gummy bear and coffee sound like a good start me up this morning. Any one care to join me ?

Yummy coffee and cinnamon rolls am saved thanks for the coffee :). We have some very light snow, have not heard the weather today but am thinking this is more our daily dusting we tend to get this time of year. Thanks Fran good day to you as well. Just a bit of sun would help :p I do like snow and cold but i have nothing against rain and sunshine either. A pipe For Wuzz but of course, that sounds like a fine idea. Just no wacky tabky. Dam tree hugger, well unless you are a tree hugger then its cool muhehehehe. Or live in the following states Oregon,Washington,Alaska and Hawaii. I think that right i know 4 state now allow Maryjane for recreational use

What was the old camping song. Soil and water, soil and water, mud, mud, mud

good day have fun and enjoy life today !

Nothing whacky or tobacky about my e pipe. 30 mg I call Breakfast Blend to jump start my nic. Only way I hug trees is as I'm carrying them in to burn in the Franklin. Slow time of year for me with the gators hiding in their caves to stay warm.

Shoveling done, was around 4" so not enough to fool with the snow thrower :)

Salem, I buy the henny pennies when I find them on sale, cook them in the crock pot, and then shred all the meat for lunches. I usually get a good 4 quart sized ziplock bags full for the freezer, and that will last me most of the month.

Your stew sounds great, it always tastes better the 2nd night ;)

It is really good. I cook the chicken off the bone. Add onions, crushed red pepper and black pepper, 1 stick of butter 8-o to the broth and cook until onions are clear. Remove the meat from the chicken, shred it and add it back to the pot along with evaporated milk. We eat it with saltines crushed into the bowl. Really good stuff. Cold weather is great for recipes like this.
