Lookin good there Wuzz! I got my little folio in a plum color...and it was right handy to be able to take downstairs for easy access to the recipe without having to print it out :)

I can't eat the spicy stuff like I used to, so I skipped the red pepper flakes in this recipe. It came out really yummy. I followed the blogger's changes and used apple cider vinegar and Dr. Pepper instead of the regular vinegar and Sprite. It's a definite keeper for me, but I think next time I'll make it with boneless thighs.

Oh, that is a shame. I think that the red pepper would add alot to that dish. I do not have Dr Pepper but, once I get some, I will be making that recipe. We do not care for the dark meat though so will stick with the chicken breasts.

Thanx Fran. We had someone go missing since last Friday here. My BIL's step grandson. Sounds complicated but most of our town has been out looking for him. I've been stomping scrub hoping I didn't find him in the woods somewhere.

Oh no, Wuzz :( I sure hope that he was found and in good health. Keep us posted please.

I agree. I never thought that I needed a smart phone but, now that I have one it would be hard to give up. When my computer went down a few months ago, it was nice to be able to use my phone like a tablet too. I see so many benefits from having one now.

Good morning, all.

Wow! Fran must be sleeping in

Morning folks :)

Ortho appt for Katie this afternoon, hoping that she's all healed up and he takes her cast off!

Hope that works for you Bovinia. Last cast I had many years ago the Dr. said he wanted to leave it on for another couple of weeks. I told him one of us was going to take it off today. He reluctantly got out the saw.

Fingers crossed for you, Bov! I have never had a cast or a broken bone other than my nose from a car accident. The doc said that he could rebreak my nose and set it but, I declined. It used to be slightly turned up at the end (Polish nose lol) and no longer is. The shape was not worth going through having it broken again though for me.

Cast is off...woohoo! Katie feels much lighter and freer. Dr. gave her a brace and told her to wear it only when she's doing anything strenuous, and gave her the usual exercise hand out to stretch and rebuild muscle tone. She's a happy camper :)

I've never had a cast either, but I've had my share of boo boos. Dislocated shoulder, broken toes, cracked ribs, cracked tail bone.

Well good. That should improve the quality of life for both of you from what I've been hearing. Glad to hear.
