Morning folks :)

Sore as all get out from shifting snow from one side of the world to the other. We're running out of places to pile it! High today is 19 and we're on it right now...-12* tonight.

Dee, I forgot about checking if the insulators are peek when I ordered, but with Salem's links I can get it taken care of if not when I get it. Sounds like you've got the Purple Haze down to a science! I love the Bavarian Creme and use it a lot.

Hoping for good Doc visits for both of you, Salem and Wuzz!

Thanx Bovinia. Mine went fairly well. My lungs are pretty scarred up but clear if that makes any sense. Partly cloudy here today. High 82 with only about 8" of sunshine. We're supposed to get rain later in the week but our coldest day is going to be 66. Since the temperature has exceeded my age by a few degrees I'll be working outside today. May go check on the gators to see how many are venturing out of their caves.

I ordered a couple of drip tips last Tues. the 17th. They shipped from Sugarland Tx on the 17th usps first class, as of today they have only made it to Houston

My new istick ordered shipped usps first class Friday the 20th from Aurora Co, and is out for delivery today :headbang: No shipping notice yet on the Subtank ordered Sat night.

Get the lead out, Tx!

Headed outside to see what I could find to do. Wind is bitter here so my ambition didn't last long! Cold I'm ok with, cold and wind...not so much!

We have a light misting rain atm...temps falling back too unacceptable before dark...That's just great...

Running the Haze in the Nauty Mini...Added two very small drops from the FW Bavarian Creme too this fill...Already it's tamed down just a bit...Was reading that store bought juice has citric acid added to "protect" the juice and add shelf life...I added a little lemon juice once as it was said to make the flavor pop...I saw no need in adding it again...

I tried the lemon juice/vinegar suggestions a long time ago and felt the same way Dee. I use the Bav Creme in my Cinnamon Roll recipe to tame the sharp edge of the cinnamon. It pulls the Cinnamon Roll and Cream Cheese Icing together very well. I'm also using the Bav Creme together with Butterscotch...yum :)

I have read a couple (and only a couple) of posts (elsewhere and in unfamiliar territory) that the clear, as well as the white, insulators in the Kanger RBAs used in the Subtanks "melt" and that Kanger is now on a third generation of insulators using a blended PEEK that is tan in color.

I can't vouch for this—I am only sharing, putting this out there for my refugee peeps to follow up on...and share their findings in return :)

Thanks Pokey !!!! I looked at all the information that came my way on the insulators...Remember I said I would've purchased the KSM tank already but I couldn't remember if the "Peek" was the insulator of choice....I'd seen Kanger's video...They got a ding dang problem wording in English and all they really said was there was a new insulator and I distinctly remember the thing wasn't clear...Hoping that when it arrives it will have the latest and greatest insulator....10 to 1 it won't....This isn't an issue when running Kanger coils though....just with the re-buildable deck...It may also be a non- issue if the second generation insulator is used at sane levels of coil resistence....Pretty sure the K Fun has delrin...It's never melted nor effected the flavor...

Rocky Mountain Vapor does not play....The 50 is here and in action...Sporting a K Fun until the KSM arrives...So far it's 10 of 10...Thanks too the lovely SalemGold fot the link!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't venture out looking for a small space heater....None will be found..Lawnmowers on the other hand are in great supply....Wishing the weatherman and Lowes could get on the same page and bring this Spring thing on....I ain't made for this weather dangittt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Pokey! I had on;y heard about needing to swap from the white to the clear (peek) insulator. I'll have plenty of time to sort out if there is yet a 3rd one needed since I don't plan on building coils any time soon. Even if I do, I won't be building super sub resistance...at least no intentionally.

Yep Dee, vaping the nauty mini on the iStick as we speak! What a sweet little mod :) My only little nit picky issue so far is having to hold both buttons down to lock it, I'm not very coordinated.

Dumb question...since I didn't order the full kit, it came with the usb cord, but no wall wart. I have several, should I be concerned about input/output amps on the wart?

Ok, just answered my own question by looking up the manual online. (I can't even read the one in the box with my cheaters) It comes with a 1amp wall adapter, so no worries about all the ones I have on hand :)

Woo hoo!!!!! My iStick 50w is in my hands as well! They don't play around is right! Dang that was super fast. :) Diggin' it!!!!!

Thank you Miss Salem for sharing the info. :)

I am loving the upgrades since the 20w. My fire button sticks on the 20w, the 50 feels a lot more stable. The charging port is on the side instead of the bottom, again two thumbs up! The fact that my Kayfun does not hang over the top edge is another definite plus in my book. It's all good!!!

Was hooked up with a Novice at work today for testing juices!!! I put a knurled pink shorty wide bore drip tip in between the unit and the long drip tip it comes with and now it's bad azz!! You know I have to girl it up some. lol ;) What a great day to vape!!!

ElDee, ew @ adding citric acid. We do not add anything like that at all. Straight up VG/PG/nic/flavoring. That's it. :) I just wanted to throw that out there. ;)

I'm off tomorrow but meeting at my former coworkers house for a much needed coffee/gab session. I miss my girls so I am excited to see them again.

Thank you Miss Pokey for all of your helpful info!!! (((hugs)))

Bov,

I got shipping confirmation on the 21st for the subtank, still in CA, due to be delivered Thursday. (Gosh I hope someone's home!) ;) Hope this helps!

I got my sub shipping notice this afternoon, shortly after I posted that I hadn't gotten it yet :)

Tracy, we need a pic of your girly pink Stick! I see on the Kanger site that you can order different color o rings for the Sub Mini. I'll be all over that because that red it comes with is .... fugly IMO. I'll prolly order a set in clear and one in black since my Stick is black. The tan insulators on the Kanger site are not for the Mini according to the description, so seems to still be a question mark on that issue.
