Wow, that is odd, TT. So, it was the Delta causing the firing issue? I see people here and there having issues with iSticks but, I never have. I mostly use my nautilus on them and now the Knger Sub tank. Wonder if all of those issues may be contributed to the topper that they are using?

Hummm, good point salem.

Even my Kayfun didn't seem to like the 50 watt, but as long as I can use my Nautilus tanks on them I'm a happy camper.

Dandy little mod as far as I'm concerned.

Sorry to hear that about 757girl. She really is a sweet lady. Florida will be lucky to have her.

Have a good night Wuzz, see you tomorrow.

We're getting a cold rain and it wasn't fun going out to check on the dogs. They were all happy to see me though and I had to give each of them some loving and a treat. They were all on their pallets and pretending to be asleep when I left the barn!

I built this dog condo once...I dug out a basement...blocked the walls/foundation...concreted the floor...the entrance doubled as the step for the dog house...it tied into the foundation made a weatherproof entrance...The upper house was all wood with a lean to shelter out front...So it was cold...I bought a heat lamp...all went well for a dang long time...then on the night of 2/5 year unknown I was awakened by a pounding at the door....My neighbor screaming the dog house was burning!!!!! I grabbed some pants and threw on a zip up hoodie...Between the house and dog house there's a rock retaining wall down near the creek....I was hitting @40mph...barefoot...Now running is something I used to do well and when all hell breaks I can still impress...I was coming off that wall when I crashed....did I mention I crashed right where I'd spread some rocks for erosion control....did i mention it didn't slow me down.....much anyway....My saving grace was the two foot bed of cedar shavings in the house...The house was burned down and shingles left were burning on top of those shavings...I mistakenly thought I saw the remains of one dog in the ashes...The dogs were no where to be seen and I was past freeking...Just then I see movement in the tunnel going in downstairs..I pulled that hoodie on and dived through the dang flames and drug my two dogs out one at a time....They were scared a plenty but unharmed otherwise..The relief was immense...How do I know the day preceding was 2/5????? Born on 2/6.....

So I built another....but....This time I bought an overhear infared heater with a ding dang thermostat...it had a bracket that screwed too the ceiling...It ran when needed automatically...Chopper and BB eventually died of old age...I donated the house too the welfare commission and a big old blue pit called Bruno lives in there now....with the heater!!!

Then about a month back my cousin's sow had pigs....heat lamp and no more barn...or pigs...it was a big old barn to......Be careful with that heat lamp Tejas...Triple overkill is required when hanging it...

I rode up until 76...I sold a Paint tri-color for the then pricely sum of 400...That was my down payment and nearly half the purchase price of the 70 Mach 1 I mentioned...Payments were $34 a month...I've rode since but haven't owned another horse.

Pretty sure the Stick 50 is a floating pin 510...The fire button is directly in front of the connector so different toppers could possible be the cause of firing issues...Mine works great and for that I'm thankful...

I must have logged in about 5 miles today....The junkyard is 1/2 mile down...so 1/2 back....Down hill going down so tuff on the return...I often see people resting coming up that hill...I wasn't carrying anything today so I was fine at the top...THANKS TO MY PV!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, all.

LD, we could use one of those condos for my moms dog. She is closing in on 17 years old. Has pretty severe joint and hip issues. She loves being outside and we usually have to wrangle her to get her in the house even on cold nights. I did get a heated blanket for her and she does have shelter though. That dog is spoiled rotten because we all love her dearly.

Hey, its nice to see all of these freshly washed and pretty, young, faces around here this morning.

I'll go up to the Hardware Store this morning and check on an infra-red heater this morning El Dee. The one I have is high enough the dogs can't mess with it and if it fell for any reason it would land on a dirt floor. But the infra red sounds good and I always like to stop by the Hardware Store for two reasons. I have credit there and the fat lady with the mustache that runs the place has a crush on me.

And poor, poor Wuzz looking at 70 degree temperatures. If it gets that cold Wuzz just start burning the furniture to stay warm! We don't want anything happening to you! Our high today is 41 I think and down in the 20's for the next two nights. I guess our weathermen don't know it's March and winter is supposed to be over!

We are under a state of emergency here today, called last night. So needless to say we are all home and hanging out! The snow is piling up out there after raining all night. Should be a lovely mess out there when it ends tonight.
Our high is 25 and going down to 2 in the overnight. Snow totals forecasted 3-5

Loved the story again ElDee. I can only imagine the fear that ran through you with that knock at the door!

So happy to see that I didn't offend anyone. My mom called just a little while ago and said,"I'm glad to see that I raised you all with sense enough to stay the h*ll home today! It's alot of worry off my mind to know none of you will be out traveling in this s*it!"
Do I know my Mom or what? Lol ;)

We paid to have a snowblower fixed and gave it to her at the start of the season. She used it once and says she can not get the wheels to engage. She tells us she's been shoveling ever since!!! Mom is no wimp at 66! But we WILL be going down to see what the issue is.

Tejas I don't remember what brand that heater was...It working by itself was one more thing I didn't have to do...

I had an Uncle who set print for the Virginia Pilot sports section...He went to alcohol rehab in the 60s...back then rehab wasn't fashionable...He was married to my Dad's sister....The by the book tame half of my DNA...Still when they came down from Virginia he always visited Unc down on the farm....pre-rehab that is..Well my Grandma passed and the house was gonna be sold so everyone in the family was cleaning it out...From the cabinet above the washer I scored a big medicine bottle full of little finish nails....not for the nails....the bottle had Grandma's name and the prescription....Quaalude...Lemon 714...refill as needed....Damn glad I didn't see that when it was full of Ludes...I also got a really old thermometer from the porch...some printing supply outta Virginia....New heater w/thermostat so I'm digging for a thermometer...I find this one and attach it to a wall stud where it's easily seen from the outside...Two screws...two...Next day the thermometer is laying on the cedar shavings ripped too bits...Same as when I added some clear plastic to the door to block the wind...It got ripped down...I hated losing that thermometer...My Grandad was a carpenter...While everyone else was fighting over the appliances I scored his hammer..It's a prized possession...I also scored a little metal ash tray that Virginia Unc always used...The well where the ashes go is rather unique...It's the shape of the State of Tejas!!!!! Today I use that so small e cig parts don't get lost while re-building...

We're a county below the snow line....Same storm as 908....Stay safe up there!!!!!!!!!!!! Still warm ATM but plunging later....

Sheesh. 61 and light rain here but, I better check the weather. We are probably headed for another cold front as well.

LD, I never knew my grandparents. When DH's Memaw passed, it was sickening at how all of his cousins raided the place like a bunch of vultures. DH was close with his Poppa and fished with him when he was young. The fishing gear was promised to him but, he ended up with nothing.

Not a cold chance that any of us would be that way when any of our family passes. Nice to have things for memories but, I don't get how some people can be so greedy at a time like that.

I will add that if I had been there and that bottle would have been full, you and I may have had to duke it out  in my younger days

Our 3-5 is now 4-8.
Middle DD was scheduled to work at the tanning salon from 1-9 today. She tells me at 11:45....you know, when most 19 year olds arise from sleep state! Anyways, there was no friggin way I was letting her drive in this! Colleges are closed, state of emergency, and they want to keep a tanning salon open ?!?!
I normally stay out of things like this and encourage the girls to do what they gotta do , but not today. She isn't driving and that's that!

Loving the great stories! Salem, I was the same in my younger days...would have duked it out over that bottle too

Fortunately we are just above the heavy snow line this time! I did drag the snow blower out and try to knock down the mountain that is right outside our back door so as to lessen the melt water going into the basement. With as much snow as has been piled up there, it's about shoulder tall...and I'm 5'7"! Shovel it into the sidewalk, then blow it halfway across the big back yard. I got about a quarter of the mountain done before I pooped out. I've been working the sheet out of this little single stage snow blower

After a total of 6 hours on the phone over the past 3 days, I finally got straight with the DSS issue

Oh...and I'm liking the 1.2 KSM head much better!

When I lost my darling Lynda Kay a year and a half ago I invited all the kids to come and take whatever of hers they wanted. She had a lot of beautiful jewelry, she was a very good painter and had a lot of really fine things she had painted, tons of books, clothes, all kinds of things.

I was pleasantly surprised when the day came for all of that and before any of them took anything .... they asked if it was okay!

Things I thought would get snatched up and quickly put in a pocket, they discussed it and decided among themselves which one or which grandchild should get the item. On real expensive things they decided mostly on a grandchild getting it, especially jewelry.

They called the local library and donated all her books to them and they came right away and picked them up.

It was a little hard on me to see Lynda's things leave the house, but I have to say I was proud of the kids. There was no arguing or fighting. They discussed everything kindly and politely.

Hey guys, sit up and get comfortable and make sure nothing is pinching you because I have a serious question.

I have nothing planned for today.

So I was thinking about going to each and every clock in this house and change batteries and go ahead and turn the time back an hour since we have to do it this weekend anyhow.

So, here's my question.

Will turning the time back today make the earth stand still or anything like that? Will the sun fall down?

And if that's so .... what would happen if I turned the clocks back one hour and then turned them ahead two hours?

Would that make me a time traveler?
