I received the replacement iStick 50 this week, works like a charm.
Kudos to the vendor, it was a painless and easy exchange.

Also received my second KSM and the packs of colored o-rings. An easy change-out, Tracy--I was pleasantly surprised.

Rockin' two KSMs, now, one on the Stick, one on a P3; the kayfun still resides on the full size P2.5 (suffering the watermelon sucking syndrome, lol), gonna have to find a niche for the mini--thinking it will be my at home dripper. Still like dripping, it's a ritual thing that I find pleasing. Saw some interesting reviews on the Aelous...but I've spent out at the moment [emoji23]

Tomorrow is my dad's--today I am taking him and mom to eat BBQ buffet--it is a birthday tradition. Heading to Lone Star in Santee...has had good reviews and the place is quaint.

@Fran, how are you changing out the OCCs?

Just pulling out the old cotton thorough the side and pushing in new one? Cutting it flush to the edge of the head or?

Happy Belated to ElDees Mom, and Happy early Birthday to Pokey's Dad!!

Bov the DTs are stunning!!! My FT order finally departed China on Thursday. Excited to receive it all. I think I skipped on the black/speckled tip and now regretting it. It would look spectacular with the blue orings!!!! Dang! My next iStick will be silver!!!! Love it! The mood stick (haha Pokey!) is right up my alley!

Pokey, Glad to hear the oring change is a simple one! Thanks so much! Maybe later today I'll get a chance to play around with it. I need to mix more juices too, getting dangerously LOW atm.

Oh Tracy! Pokey treated herself to the Celtic Knot P3, and it is beautiful!! And yes, the o rings are very easy to replace...I didn't bother with the bottom one on the deck, just the top and bottom glass. I can't see the one on the deck when it's put together.

Happy Birthday to Papa Gizmo!! Pokey, search youtube for rebuilding the OCC and you'll find a bunch of tutorials.

It's snowing, but at least this one won't create any extra work with the temps above freezing.

Insert needle to push out the cotton a bit so you can get ahold of it and then twirl with a light pull. Check the cois to make sure it looks good and rewick.

Tracy, I caved to lust. Or limerence, I am not sure which, LOL!! I didn't win the CK, I didn't expect to...but I didn't expect them to send out a $50 dollar off coupon either.

I'd had my eye on it for a long while...it's like they *knew* or something, damn marketing ploys...

Thanks for all of PapaGizmo's birthday wishes...we stuffed our guts on some down-home good for the soul but not for the waistline BBQ and other foods. Tomato pie, oh my!! Been a long while since I had *that*--and so many other southern sides done up right and, of course, desserts too. Bread pudding, oh dear!! And of course, it wouldn't be a BBQ joint without 'Nanner Puddin'.
