Salem, let me know your results with the Tres Leches on your coil, and what (if any) other flavors you are thinking might mix well with it, please? I would imagine most fruits would go well, but since I'm not a fruit vaper, I'm thinking coconut would be really good. I'm still using FA coconut but I need a better one. I didn't like Capp's at all. FA is decent but very faint, maybe TFA'a coconut candy? I want that Baker's flaked coconut flavor!

That Tres Leches did not gunk my coil up but, I don't care for it as much as I did at first. It tasted good in my old style bridgeless atty but, when I loaded up my Subtank, I could taste a sour milk? kind of under taste. I am not giving up though. It was only steeped for about 1.5 weeks and I am goiung to let it steep at least another week or two and try again.

What? No suntan lotion for you? Coconut has not been good since the D was removed from most of them IMO I do like FA Coconut okay as far as coconut goes though.

Hey everyone!

Well, I took about 6 or 8 clippings from various parts of that bush (tree) at my Dad's this afternoon. Turns out Bo watched my Dad root plants before soooooooo, I put him to work! I read everything to him, including ElDee's posts on the subject :) (thanks again ElDee!) and we had a great time reminiscing about my Dad and his love/luck with plants while we tried our best with these shoots. Again, another memory maker!

Way back when we were in high school, my Dad had a hand in helping Bo with some "plants". (some might call them the medicinal type) ;) Each week my Dad would mix up his magical mix (some fort of fertilizer) and we'd go for a ride. We'd get near this field and drop Bo off, who disappeared into the field somewhere and my Dad and I would continue on.....about 15 minutes later we'd circle back and pick Bo back up right where we let him out. I gotta say, that was the most beautiful healthy plant I have ever seen of it's kind, and Bo and I will never forget it! Thanks to my Dad. ;) Yeah, my Dad was COOL!

I'm going to watch a vid or two now, just to make sure nothing escaped me in my efforts.

Thanks Fran, I had read not to dry burn them because it may burn the insulator. Just wanted to check with you since I knew you had been rewicking them. Just rewicked my first one and I'm getting a lot of burnt hits...too little wick? I went kinda skimpy so I'll try again.

Yeah Salem, if I could find a coconut with a little D still in it, I'd buy it LOL! Everyone can save the lectures, I'm an informed vaper ;)

And thanks for the reminder about the forum move, I already knew and forgot.

Well the forums getting a new format...I'm good with anything that's better...Betting I can name a few who will lose their minds....

The E leaf Lemo Drop has some quirks but it's a dang good vaping tank....The Goblin and KSM sit on the curb while the Lemo Drop rolls....News today of the Lemo 2 out soon....Nifty twist to fill port....new air flow adjustment as well....Drops from 23mm to 22mm so now it'll flush fit a Pro Vari....Hoping they'll make 'em in black...

Hoping your cuts root 908....Down South we still use that special mixed fertilizer....Hey!!! It's medicinal !!!!!!!

Had a dude begging to buy one of my Plasma tanks....truth is it's kinda big and just after I got them they came out with a shorty...Otherwise I like it...The Lemo 2 is coming soon so I confirmed a Plasma sell for Monday...and Heck No!!! There will be no discount...Given what I had to go thru to acquire a Plasma I should charge extra...

Got a sheet load of flavor and a gallon of VG the other day....So far I've not slowed enough to actually mix anything....

My money would be on this coconut being good http://baker-flavors.blogspot.ru/2013/10/we-accept-orders-on-our-email.html Yep, they are in Russia. I placed a large order with them last year ( no coconut, sorry :(, ) and now people are having issues placing orders. Hopefully that will remedy itself soon and we will be able to order again. Best flavors hands down that I have ever used. Use at .5 to 2% for STRONG flavor. No sheet ;)

There is one vendor in US that carries some of their flavors but, not the coconut. If I am ever able to order again, I will get some coconut :)

Yep, always a V2 right around the corner  The Kanger Sub Plus looks pretty darn good too. Never stops which is good in a way. Just not for a budget.

    Morning folks :)

Fran, wick #2 also tasted funky so I looked at it under my mag light and flakes of gunk from the coil were all over it. Both wicks had plenty of saturation, so my guess is that the coil was too far gone. I got frustrated with fooling with it and just put a new head in it. From now on, I'll gut them and put a new coil in. I mainly just want to see how well a rebuilt stock head vapes compared to the rba.

Salem, the problem with ordering from your posted link may well have to do with politics. With our trade sanctions strangling Russia, they ma be refusing to do business with Americans. I've been quite pleased with the Flavor West flavors I'm using...maybe I'll give their coconut a try.

Dee, I've heard good things about the Lemo too, my budget says no

There's always debates on best practices and dry burning is no different. I dry burn and I don't have any problems with it, otherwise dried gunk on the coil and it always taste bad to me.

Although I've not messed with any of the KSM coils yet, my experience is exactly like Wharf's. :) I dry burn and rewick whenever the taste is off. Makes it all bettah!!!:vapor:

There is a guy in Korea having trouble ordering as well. I think that it may have to do with their payment system. They recently started taking PP but, seem to have issues with it now. Plus, they told me that they have had issues with shipments being returned to them via USPS. USPS said customer was not home which was not true. They returned the damn package to Russia! Plus many other issues he told me about with our USPS system.

When I placed my order last year, I paid by WU and had no issues. Hopefully they will consider using UPS or Fedex and start shipping out again.

I think I will give TFA's coconut candy a try and see how it tastes.

Wharf, the only reason it is recommended not to dry burn the pre made heads is that there is an insulator right above the coil and it's easily burned. I will try it and see how it does...nothing lost if it burns the insulator. The rba decks are fine, I dry burn and rewick those with no problems :)

OMG!! Anyone who has taught a teen how to drive should try giving a refresher course to an 82 year old 8-o :censored:

LOL, Bov. My mom quit driving about 20 years ago of her own choice. Thank goodness! Now she likes to be a back seat driver

She is from NY and did not even have a license until she was in her 30s. I don't really think that she was ever that comfortable with driving anyway.

I have been thinking about your coconut dilemma. I think that you want a dry, flaky type flavor. If I were looking for that type of flavor, I would try this. I have heard that this is a flaky coconut and not creamy. http://www.bullcityvapor.com/coconut-concentrate-inw/

Ooooooo, that coconut sounds good! :)

Bov, I will ask the girls at work to see if they've dry burned or not.....they were just showing me how to coil one properly the other day but I didn't have a lot of time to see it all from start to finish. I kind of showed up mid way! I told them I will probably have a time of it not being able to micro coil, as that is all that I've done thus far and that's where I jumped in at. Had to go back to my office before she was finished with it all though.
