Salem the video is definitely worth watching....It's not gonna be a game changer but does work quiet well...The combing and trimming of the wick make it worth the time...I wicked both my 2mm coiled K Funs today....To fully employ BK's method 2mm is a little small....I did comb and trim....paying a lot more attention to my wick tails...The volume of the tails is definitely less and my take is the wick may go a little longer...Hey a first shot at it with room for improvement hit 28 watts with more available....While high wattage vaping is not my intention I still want a wick capable...If it'll roll at high watts at should be great at lower watts...I have the 3mm coil that I had at 28w sitting on 10w now with the air cut down...It runs there fine as well and is a completely different taste and vape...My initial impression is the 3mm performs better a little higher in watts...I'm gonna spin a 2.5 and test it's limits as well....The only things for certain in my coil adventures....tensioned coils were definitely worth the time spent making the rig....The Coil Master is close but "No cigar"...I can see lots of defects in a Coil Master spun coil...I've not pre flamed a CM coil and that may help that situation...

Thanks for linking that Bov...I keep forgetting and had forgotten this time as well...The video I saw was not the KSM so I watched this one to..I see BK used a 2.5 and that I plan too try though I don't really expect any major improvement..BK is running the coil way higher than I have mine...and yeah I'll raise mine up...Using this style I now have clear deck where the wick makes contact...I can see the juice channels easily...Combing IMO leaves only long strands that run directly too the coil...no short strands running across the grain...straight flow path for the juice....I've got the KSM and Kays running this wick and the third attempt in a Kay is really chucking the flavor...With the 2mm I don't bother with the crease and with Chaddos I don't have the outer skin layer...I'll be rolling KGD next time maybe...Chaddos I've no complaints with but a deal is a deal and 99.9% roll with KGD....

Son she's been raining for days...I'm OK with that as the rains over the past few weeks have been timed along with the high pollen events...Thinking my sinuses have finally started too heal from the years of cigarettes as even the pollen didn't bother me much this year...

I watched the video, thanks for posting it Bov! Being a licensed cosmetologist, combing and trimming are right up my alley! I was surprised at how short the ends of that wick were looking and quite frankly for a minute there I thought,"he done messed up!" lol I will have to try it sometime when I have extra time to play around. (next day off perhaps)
In a nutshell ElDee, do you think it's worth the extra time doing all of that? Maybe the jury is still out, and you'll need a bit more time to know, huh? :) I'll have to borrow some of that KGD from the shop. (I'm still using organic cotton balls, and I like them just fine)

Moving Bo's parents went well yesterday. We had that uhaul emptied by 1:00 and unpacked well enough for them to be comfortable by 5:00. I was tired but it felt great helping them out. :) They are much closer now so that is a relief if an emergency arises.

The day was spent catching up on laundry, and doing the first round of post winter clean up in the yard. Was the first chance we've had to do it and I felt really behind this year with working. Looks great now though and I'm pleased with it for now. A new canopy (heavier duty type) should be here by Wednesday, and the mulch beds need a little over haul but I think it'll be game on from there! Bring on the flip flops!!!!

Dee I haven't watched any of BK's other vids yet, but this one did show his wicking method so I figured it would give everyone a good idea what you're talking about. I do peel the outer skin off if I'm using the KGD, and something that has worked well for me in improving both airflow and wicking is snipping the tails in half (but not all the way up to the coil) so that I can lay them to each side of the juice channels with the chimney on. I raise my coil up on the deck fairly high too.

According to tracking, 101Vape got my iStick delivered yesterday, Hopefully I'll hear something from them tomorrow. I'm curious to see what they suggest since they are out of stock on the Sticks.

I hooked my cousin, and one of Bo's coworkers up with iStick 30's and aerotanks on Friday. Both are happy as clams. My cousin hasn't smoked since (yay!) and the coworker is digging it too, but will take a bit longer I think to give it up all together. I told him, no worries, every one not smoked is a win and he's headed in the right direction. ;) I LOVE introducing smokers to vaping!!!

I ordered Bo & I (him blue and me silver) iStick 30s as well. He's been taking my 20 (with 3 mg juice...blue pom) for hits here and there so I wanted to get him his own. I prefer the smaller size over the 50. Something for everyone!!!

Well I kinda just blend the way I was wicking with some BK style...BTW the first BK video was just with another RTA...wicking was exactly the same...My previous line of thinking was too much cotton inside the coil would equal a choke point...restricting juice flow...Now it seems BK is stuffing it in there pretty dang good but.....watch as he pulls the wick in....little too no bunching up....then...in the video Bov linked ....when BK is just about finished you can see a comb pull the wick out of the coil....he even pulls it back to center it up....I cut my cotton and just try and insure it's good and even....when pulling into the coil if it bunches to much spin the backside and it'll go in fine...then comb and trim as BK did..I don't worry about folding and rolling much...When i comb and trim I try and get it good and even where it touches the bottom deck...Then I juice it just too stick it...Don't compress it and it should be where you want it prior to juice...I get a good little area of clear space around the juice channels when finished....I used to lay wick right over them...Comb and trim....if you fekk it up cut some more cotton...You should see improvements with a BK style....there will be a learning curve so don't sweat it....

I'll be glad when my new Stick 50 gets here...I took a tip from Bov and scratched a little ID mark on the old one...Hoping the issues will be resolved....The silicone case arrived for the 50 but I didn't try it out prior....Just looking for anti-skid outta the case...scratches are fine by me....

Trying to vape my stock down a shade before mixing...Water worked well in most juices but 10% turned the Snake Oil into Juicy Fruit...5% would be better IMO and we'll test that theory with a 30ml next go...Cutting all recipes too 3mg/ml....

Got me some black mini ape hangers for my new bike on the way...Way I figure I got about 6 inches of rise with the factory bars and the minis are 13.5...so I should gain around 7 inches and a much more preferable wrist angle when riding...got some new grips as well...I didn't think I was in shape by any means....that bike has been laying the hammer on my azz for sure...@ 1.5 miles too the crest of the hill leaving my drive is brutal....much better on the return !!!! Coasting like a MFerr!!!!!
