Moaning Fran and Bov. Still in our heat wave here. Looked at my thermometer yesterday afternoon and it read 103.8 actual. No telling what the heat index was but it was hotter than a snakes azz in a wagon.

Good morning, all.

I feel your pain, Wuzz. :(

I've been away from the crib the last couple of days....To prove I'm not addicted I leave the computer at home.....I'm addicted

Over 100* forever now....Humidity the same....Better than 20* and a wind chill of 10* though

Agreed on all accounts! Haha

Thanx Salem. Interesting.

That brand works the best. They have them at Wally World as well. My middle sister works in and out of this heat all day. I got one for her and it is a tremendous help. They stay cool for about 4 hours or more. Then you just re wet them and go again. I can tolerate being outside in the heat much better with than without these. It is amazing how much keeping your neck cool helps.:thumb:

Kind of weird but even though the towel is wet, it does not get you or your clothes wet.

ETA- many people that play pro sports use these to keep cool as well.
