Heck I didn't know Tejas had cancer.....Glad too hear it's gone....
Hope the shot works Oly....Mine is better but would have been much better had I not stressed it again yesterday....
Got my air line....Working from the end too the source.....a complex three stage filter too remove water/trash.....fittings galore...mounting bracket welded on by yours truly many years ago...changing the last fitting for the new line and the first turned a bit....meaning it will leak....so yeah....cut the bracket off....with no air....disassemble the unit...add fresh fittings....reweld....reinstall....I got too the cut bracket stage and said fekk it...the high dollar plumbing supply store was closed anyways....Lowes had galvanized fittings from South Africa....150psi rating....USA made at the high dollar 700 psi rating....
Check engine lights for converters/exhaust....I've done this many times with good success...
First....The cheapest gas is kinda like the South Africa fittings....it might work but it could cost you....I pay a few cents more and buy a name brand...converters don't like the cheap sheet....Mom's car had a check engine light for a bad converter about 2K back....I hit O'Reilly's and hooked up a Royal Purple fuel system cleaner...Waited for the 1/4
tank left and threw in the whole bottle...I then went too the backwoods and ran the car into the ground...Get it good and hot and from a dead stop hold it down until you gotta lift...Getting the RPMs high builds pressure in the exhaust and aids the process....Mom's light went out on it's own....I then filled up and added a full can of Sea Foam...the light hasn't come back on....Usually I use the Sea Foam but the Royal Purple is good as well....I try and add a can of SF @ every 5th
tank full....My blower and weed eater have ethanol free gas w/SF added the other day...Keep it clean,,,,Gas ain't worth a fekk these days....the addition of ethanol made it worse....converters and ethanol are a known NO GO !!!!!!!!! 99.9% of the time a converter light will reappear before a drive cycle is completed{the 50/75 miles}....I've used SF and the light went away on it's own and I've also cleared the light after dosing w/SF successfully...Usually pre inspection I make sure there are no codes and in NC a converter light equal no pass...There can be 2 codes present....no emmission codes though
