Why the heck we had to be here before dawn to sit and wait is beyond me of course I barely slept last night just because I had to be up so early lol

Seems like medical always overbooks in case somebody is late or doesn't show up. Some worse than others. We're supposed to respect their time while they have none for ours.
That is exactly what I was just saying to dh it is fine for us to wait but heaven forbid that they should have to wait on us not to mention they are getting paid for their time

Since my wife has been an RN for almost 30 years, I've learned that if you want to stay healthy, you need to stay away from hospitals and doctors. If you want a script x 12, see a doctor. Then prepare to be sick.
It should not be called "healthcare".
But with the way many eat/drink, doctors& hospitals don't have to worry about business being slow.
Just yesterday my wife encountered a "doctor" who gives infants their shots one at a time, when actually many can be given all at once. His reason; he can charge much more doing it his way. Multiply that by hundreds of others doing this and this is our healthcare.

How many cords have you got put up Fran? I split a full cord last Sat. and still have about 2 to 2 1/2 cut and ready to split.
Dee's doing ok, Kgj...got some family stuff going on that he just wants to take some R&R time to himself

That's a lot of firewood. It gets a lot colder there than here for sure. I think the most we've ever gone through it between 3 and 4. Usually about 2-2 1/2 full cords.
I used to do it by hand but I've got a splitter now so it's not so bad. Still a lot of handling to get it cut to length and stacked. I'm just grateful I can still do it at my age.Dee's doing ok, Kgj...got some family stuff going on that he just wants to take some R&R time to himself
