I don't know that I'll ever catch up here--but I do know that I always have friends here.
Thank you all, from my heart, for the birthday wishes. The most belated thank-you ever, I know, but sincere.
Life has been...challenging, lately. As it is for all of us, I know, I know.
But with age? I don't really bounce around as well as I once did.
And my memory?
Shot completely to heck...a sweet little bovine had mentioned a good while back that there were wishes for me here and it slipped my mind.

I put my chef's hat on and came up with a juice recipe for Banana Cinnamon Nut Bread, and it smells dang good!
5.5% total flavor, all Flavor West brand. I never use sweetener, I use an 80VG/20PG base thinned with 7% distilled water. Made 175ml
60% banana nut bread
20% bavarian cream
10% butterscotch
10% cinnamon roll

Dee, that's good news on your lower load! Best way to be sure you know what's what is to ask the Dr office to make a copy of your blood work for you. I always get a copy...just to see it for myself.

You know at the bottom where it tells you the different levels of things and mentions which one equals kidney disease? My mom was convinced for more than a year that she has kidney disease from that part. She kept telling docs that while she was in the hospital. She is convinced that they don't tell her everything lol Another day in the life..........That is great news, LD! Kind of glad that info was misstated or misunderstood. Either way, the news is good.
LD, my sisters neighbor has a Pit. He looks exactly like Petey from the little rascals. He has some Bull Mastiff in him as well but, besides being big, I would never know it from looking at him. Poor guy is kept on a lead attached to a line in the back yard. I LOVE that dog. Years ago, I was tempted to just steal him and bring him home with me. I do feed and play with him every time I am at my sisters though. I actually bought him 2 beds so that he has something besides dirt to lay on. Extremely sweet dog. He started out with cataracts a few years back and is now completely blind He breaks my heart but, I try to do as much as possible to make his life at least a little bit better.

Well today was the Monday from hell. Getting ready for my Dr visit when we get a message on the answering machine from the ex. He was released today to a halfway house. He called my cell later to ask me to bring him clothes, billfold and...money. Told him to talk to his parole officer (he meets him tomorrow) and make arrangements to be escorted over here to get the things he needs...I am not driving to Hartford.
Dr doubled my high blood pressure med dose. Even after the last change, I'm still pinging 150+/95+...I'm sure it was higher than that today tho.

Ooh, not good about the BP, Bov. Try not to worry too much. At least you have the law on your side for what that is worth. Hopefully he will not be dumb enough to violate parole. At least yet. I know it has to be nerve wrecking though. (((Hugs)))
