Raining here today as well. Soggy damp day for sure.
It ought to be a law that if it rains the Monday after daylight savings, you should spend the dreary day in bed...catching up on the sleep you lost from the change. *yawns*

Wow! I am sitting here with a killer sinus headache from the pollen that is covering everything in sight. And Fran has snow? 
Yuck, sorry about that, Fran. Won't be much longer and we will all be complaining about the heat the heat though 
Took my mom to the Dr today. Her pre HA blood work looked really good. Also, she decided to try the statins again. Her Dr told her she either takes the statins or she will be back in the hospital with her heart. She decided pretty quickly to give them another shot.
The Dr and his entire staff was just amazed at how good she looks to have just had a HA a little more than a week ago. She also turns 79 on Wednesday. She is a tough cookie. Her dementia does seem to have advanced though. They say that it will with each surgery and / or hospitalization. So far it is looking like they are correct.
That's my news for the day. A little better than the normal stuff, I think

Sorry about your headache Salem and you're right about it not being long before we are beechin about the heat!
Good news about your mom and her willingness to retry the statins. I do hope they keep her out of the hospital like the docs said.
