That's how it was with the dolphin for me. Not much taste at all. The c cells are nothing like the dolphin coils.
Does the vape shop you visit have a try me model perhaps? It would be a great way to try one out down the road without putting out the cash first.

That's what I did with the target and the cleito.

I'm home since Tuesday with a nasty throat and sinus infection. Haven't had one this bad in years!
Antibiotics 4x a day, Allegra and a wicked decongestant. I hate the feeling of decongestants so I'm backing way off on that sucker. I think I will use one small sudafed instead.

Anyway it'll be nice to feel better soon and taste my juices again. Blah!

    Sleep well Fran :)

No one has shown much interest in the ceramic coils at my local shop, so Al was kind of depending on my opinion of the ones I got before he thought about stocking them. He has sold a ton of Crowns, but as far as I'm concerned, he can save his money by not stocking these.

He has a juice bar where you can sample juices before you buy, but not gear.

    Feel better, Tracy!

Hey it's been a long day....I checked into the Triton....or was it the Atlantis????? Anyway the top fill one...I do remember it was the #2 model....I mistakenly thought the tip and fill cover was all one piece....You can change tips....so GOOD!! Then I ran smack dab into someone complaining the c cells had a terribly tight draw...I run all my Crowns at around 1/2 open....I find wide open loses flavor....What's yall's opinion??? Is the draw too tight?? I did find the Kabuki with the Aspire coil way to tight for my liking....so I shelved a $$$$$$$tank....

35 minute span my Uncle calls 11 times and leaves two messages.....I was in the shop and phone was in the house.....His SiL got his tax return....SiL ran over a dead deer and ripped off his exhaust at least 6 months back and I get 11 calls in 35 freeking minutes for a job I already told them I wasn't interested in....So I got pizzed and went and looked the situation over deciding I would lay the coals on the price....Then Unc hands me the phone with some country bumpkin lady needing her bumper painted...That's a whole damn page story right there and I told him I wasn't interested when i finally got off the phone...Now I'm on the hunt for a piece of exhaust that Ford discontinued and so far I've not found....trust this....If I find that damn pipe gold could be a little cheaper per lb....So I tell him I don't run a muffler shop and it falls on deaf ears.....then I tell him country bumpkin has a deal with a competitor I ain't willing to match and damn if he don't call the next day to ask if I went by to see bumpkin's car...that's when I clarified things for him.....

I don't find the c cells to be too tight ElDee. Like you, I find that wide open airflow sacrifices flavor. I even close off the targets some (with the c cells).

With that said, as we all know to be true in this industry, YMMV. :)

Not sure about the Atlantis, but the Triton IS top fill, had a version 2, and the tip can be changed.

Your Uncle story gave me a chuckle! Hang in there.
