At first blush a person might think it's the movies, games and TV but those go all over the world now and they don't have the behavior we have here. It's something America has developed, I suspect rugged individualism and pioneer mentality, aloof from the whole, has something to do with it but that's speculation on my part.

True. I don't blame it all on the movies. Although I do believe that once exposed to violence and gore, people do become sort of immune to it. I remember when I was a kid seeing movies like The Birds and To Kill a Mocking Bird. Scared the bejeebus out of me. The first Nightmare on Elm Street was off the chain scary. No so anymore.

I do think that lack of morals and values being instilled from an early age does play a role in what is happening to society though. Parents ( including myself here) usually want their children to have a better life than what they had. Maybe we should rethink that as I feel that we have created some spoiled children that lack appreciation in many cases.

I could really go on about the next generation but, I will spare you guys.

I see it from the other side I guess. Rugged individualism and pioneer mentality is what made this country great. I'm not talking about the early giants but the millions that built businesses, put people to work and built communities. Somewhere in the 80's - 90's EVERYTHING had to be FAIR. Every kid (including my daughter) received a trophy whether you were first or last. It gave these kids an "I deserve" mentality.

I ask younger dads if they have their sons open doors for their moms. So very few teach that to their sons.

Obviously, it's multi-faceted issue and I don't disagree with anything you say here. Desensitization, morals and ethics are all a part of it , I would say ethics is especially important.

There are no more frontiers to conquer what was important yesterday has evolved skill sets have altered. What does it really matter if someone can throw or hit or whatever better than another kid. Showing up, being part of the team or event is of great importance and should be recognized. If for nothing else because they are human and they matter and they are appreciated. There is an unseen glue that holds society together and participation is the most important lesson.

My son always gets the door for anybody. His teachers always sent home reports on his politeness and respect for them.

Well now.....

Finally got around to firing up the Triton....It may be an Atlantis but I;m pretty sure it's a Triton II....Got the c cell in there....Was a little tight on the draw....I'd say the draw is similar to a real cigarette....Took about ten minutes to get the fill cap off....There were no instructions and I was damn sure it popped out....I had pliers and a rag giving it Hell when I saw it spin a little...yeah screwed right out....I really like the part where you grip the fill cap....doubles as a drip tip extension and that works for me....So far all is great and the coil seems to be getting a little better than when it was fresh....

We've had some Hellacious storms the past few days....

Hellacious storms here too, LD. Seem to be dying out though.

Those coils get better by the day. I do enjoy the tighter draw though.

Yup, I saw it. Suppose we need to let the experts on our side sort it all out and go from there. Trying not to worry.

No need to worry but, it was as bad and worse than we expected. 2007 date still applies. Pretty much
it's a de-facto ban. The reality is that most of the products on the market will be removed through high regulatory burdens.

Hardware has been included. I am well stocked but, this is a very sad day indeed. :(

Those sumbeeches should be spending their time removing the poisons from our food...They get double middle fingers from the old Evel One.....

I'm sure ya'll have heard about the whackos here in my State that passed HB2....56 years and I've never heard about a trans gender entering a bathroom against anyone's will....HB2 was found in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 64 yesterday....The whackos are puffing their chests in defiance....A violation of the law of the land???? Cuff 'em Dano !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom's new dryer has a swing to the side door...the old one has a drop down door....went to Sears and set up the exchange yesterday....So watch as I try and make the new dryer look like a load hasn't been dried yet...Got a fuel sending unit coming in to the local Dodge stealership so when the Ranger goes in the shop and the Dodge becomes the daily I can at least know I've got fuel....better get too crackin'...............

Yes these C Cells are OK in my book.....Should the hardware become unavailable...I believe the real intent is to boost cigarette and pharma quit smoking drug sales....They can SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!! I will quit and never look back....Sumbeechs have pizzed me off AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
