Still no more vomiting so I gave him just a little bit of water and he's kept that down. My regular vet is going to try to work him in tomorrow. I will cancel the ER appt for this evening if he's still doing better...$200 just to walk in the door there, plus whatever else they do. I'll pay it if I have to, but would rather his regular vet see him.

That is slightly good news, Bov. I know that the ER can be pricey. Heck, the vet can and is pricey but I also know that little guy is worth every penny and then some to you. Any chance he ate something that didn't agree with him? Fingers crossed that no solid food will remedy his tummy.

My vet called and worked Chase in this evening. This Cushing's Disease makes him susceptible to bacterial infections, and he has a lot going on. Infection in his left eye, his skin, .... glands. She gave him a long acting antibiotic shot, antibiotic eye ointment, and I need to buy saline eye wash and artificial tears.

I'm grateful they were able to work him in. One of these days the Cushing's will be more than he can take at his age of 13. But today wasn't that day.

Thank you all for the positive thoughts
