Trust this right here.....I tore two family members to dang shreads today....Like it will do any good....I point blank told Unc H to take his BMW somewhere else....Truth is my Dad and Grandad weren't to fond of old H either...Grandad told me once Unc H was always in the house with the wimmen when man sheet was being done...Dad worked for Ford and had Grandad in a sweet 72 LTD when he passed....Dad and I went by Grandad's house the morning after he passed to check on Grandma....Uncle H had already given Grandma $400 for that LTD....I had to jump on Dad's back to keep him offin' Unc H...He ran and old Dad drug me thru the house...Many times I wished I hadn't slowed Dad down.....When Dad passed old Unc H got guilty feelings and started trying to be friendly with us again....Dad made him pay Grandma what the LTD was worth....That's what kind of people I gotta deal with.....and DEALING with it ain't no problem for me.....

During my studies to become an x-ray technician I had to video what was called a barium swallow....Some radioactive banana substance is swallowed and the x-ray machine tracks it on the way too the stomach...Unusual to say the least....I remember thinking this guy is gonna glow in the dark after all this exposure...

They're just looking at a cyst that has been getting larger in my pancreas. It is benign but the thing that concerns me is I've lost family to pancreatic cancer so I'm hoping it don't become cancerous later.

Dee, I briefly filled in as a scrub tech until they could find a certified one at a hospital when I lived in Tx. You see some weird and fascinating things in the OR too.

Wow ElDee and Bov! Ya learn something new every day! The closest I've come to the health profession was as a dental assistant...twice. Got stuck with a dirty needle and had to drive myself over an hour each way for blood work to make sure I hadn't contracted anything TWICE! That did it for me. No thanks!!! My hats off to those who deal on the daily with that sheet.
Now for some much needed Zzzzzzs!

Tracy, this was a temp job that only lasted about a month, but was very interesting getting to scrub in and observe surgeries. My main duty was to clean and sterilize surgical instruments.

It came out good It was supposed to be 3 cm but only ended up at 2 cm. There's also a little one next to it. Sounds like they have a nice little family going on.
It was wicked hot and humid here today. Hoping I sweated off a few more lbs doing yard work. Slow and steady, I've dropped 25lbs since I modified a few things around the first of the year.

Yeah.....back when i was married for those 3 years....I was 1/2 way through schooling to be an x-ray tech...then....My school pardner Wolfgang and I were in the hall of the ER just talking with a gentleman...he had a heart attack and died right then and there....I pulled the code blue thingy and hauled ... to retrieve the defibulator....Wolf and I got praised in class for what we did that day....Then a teenager from my local hood swallowed a pistol and I got the task of assisting the tech when getting x-rays of his lungs prior to harvest...Dead with the back of his head gone....some machine breathing for him....Then between quarters we had to come in to get our next quarter course load....Wolf got up and quit....The teachers didn't try and stop him....Seeing they didn't give a rat's azz about Wolf the next thing I knew I was in the hall beside him....I came home and packed....loaded Chopper and BeBe then left town, college and married life all in less than 6 hours....I knew the wife was gonna go ballistic....so I guess she had to scream at herself....Her father told me prior to school that my job at the body shop was pure{the ......} labor.....He worked in a machine shop....I went back to doing what I do best....I got a body shop of my own....seriously doubt I could build my own hospital and I've never had a car die on me.......Chopper made it 14 years and BeBe 13.....I still miss them but not the old wifey....She's probably still beechin' 'bout somethin'.....

LD I got the perfect woman. She don't take up much room, She don't eat much, and when I get mad and yell at her she runs to her other bed in the corner, and she absolutely loves me. She is a dog though.
