Sorry if I came off as stirred up...I get stirred up and quiet frequently....Not in the last few days though....

Wharf I hate to see a business go down....especially over this bullsheet......

I checked the mailbox 35 times yesterday.....nothing.....36 times today....again.....nothing....My tracking from E Cig shows package not found.....watch tomorrow as I stalk the mailbox....

I got the Joye.....got the Yihi.....got the dna....Nothing wrong with any but as Wharf already said the dna provides a noticeably smoother hit...Yeah it's worth it....If that package ever shows I'll be running 2 DNAs under 2 KF5s.....

Stated a few weeks back that I thought juice in the connection was causing the then new Dagger's screen to stay illumenated....I cleaned it and it hasn't given that problem since....The other day my D3's screen was doing the same thing....I looked and found a wet circle under the Crown....I cleaned the connection and back to normal...With top fill my atties tend to stay screwed down a long time...Both PVs operated as normal when the screens were staying on....My dang side table looks like one of those PV hoarders lives here....

That looks great Mark !!! I got Salem's Blue Horse site bookmarked....They only list a medium and dark roast....I'm good with medium but read somewhere the darker the roast the less caffine.....Still got 3/4 days of heavy labor round the farm and then I'm gonna take a few days off and investigate what's available locally...I wonder if one should cold brew a light and a dark roast....Less caffine for late night drinking....I know if there's cold brew in the fridge I'll be drinking some late night....Lately I've been drinking a 20oz hot brewed around 7 or 8 pm....Turn down the AC!!!! When I hit the rack I'm usually gone pretty quick....It's said one sleeps more comfortably with a dog alongside....I'm in agreement.....

Better go and check the damn mail......

It turns out the caffeine levels are actually about the same, light vs dark roast, though you will get some variation between different beans.

Likewise you get variation based on the brewing method. Cold brew is a slow extract, but after 12 hours it pulls a lot out of the ground coffee, in part because you use a lot of coffee compared to the volume of water. It really can take a 50% cut with water, though is also "Wharfingly Good" :) straight up.

(Sometimes my afternoon cup is just tossing a few ice cubes in some of the cold brew.)

Enjoy the trip Fran !!!!!!

Got my bags...they look like they will work fine....Directions say to screw the lid on with the drawstring hanging out of the jar....Can't see that happening but the lid will likely pin the drawstring down....Gotta get my ducks in a row and go through my jars then order a grinder....As always great information Mark....

I wrongly assumed USPS was handling my E Cig shipment as the last one was in the mailbox...Logged in and checked out the tracking that wasn't working but did see the dreaded old Fed Ex....Fed Ex dropped it at my local PO yesterday after the mail went out....I can't see how it's cost effective to use two shippers...Maybe it is....I dunno....Fed Ex though....Not the best option where I'm from...

El Dee, i've heard it call terminal delivery service where Fed Ex doesn't have to go to rural or out of the way addresses by dropping the package at the local PO. Don't know how they decide what determines which deliveries are made and which are dropped at the PO.

Question for mixing. How do you go about tasting a mix and modifying it. I use tanks for vaping and it doesn't seem that it would be a good way to taste test. Should i try a dripping atomizer for tasting? If so what is a good basic one for this use.
An RDA is practical for testing. I just ordered a narda style rda from FastTech - low cost, compact, reported excellent flavor, perfect for someone like me who uses pretty simple single coil setups. Good for diy testing, and to carry (in my work pack or car) as a backup in case whatever tank I'm using during the day has a whoops.

I picked up a tsunami 24 rda during the hg flash sales, based on how much I love the Avocado 24 tank, but it's not a good fit for me. The T24 really needs someone who likes dual coils and high power to shine. Gotta find that one a new home :)

(It works fine, but my standard builds look absolutely silly in it.)

Look at you, Moon! Building coils ;)

Oly, Mark is right. A simple single coil dripper would work great for juice sampling. I have a Wotofo Supor, but it uses 2 coils. Pretty easy for me tho, since I buy pre coiled coils. Someone else will likely have a better suggestion since I don't know much about dripping other than using mine for tasting.

I buy a lot from Fasttech, but you need to be willing to wait several weeks for it to arrive.

Oly,
I bought a novice ($25 at the time) for simple taste testing juices. I'm not sure how easy they would be to come by anymore as mine was in with old stock at work. It's a complete device though, with an external battery and resembles an ego.
I like the troll for its smaller size in a dripper. Someone else may have better suggestions, but if not, I will ask at work tomorrow and report back. :)

I had an RDA back in the day...Never could get my groove on with it or any of the 2 coil tanks I purchased...I prefer single coil units and don't know of any single coil RDAs....You could kick it old school and get a 5 pack of Joye 510 atties..That's all I used for a couple of years...Even in the early Buzz days it was a Joye 510 and a drip tip...I still have a couple sitting around somewhere....I would be open to try a single coil RDA.....

Camp on Fran !!!

Word on the street is the humidity is gonna be gone in the am....I'll believe it when I feel it....Hell I'll probably freeze......
