Got my Uhaul moving container reserved for Dec 27th. The delivery man will also load all my stuff in it, then take it back to Uhaul for shipping on to SC. I plan to be in SC myself on the 3rd or 4th 
S.C. IMO is a great state....No helmet law....fireworks are legal.....
After many days of research/ordering parts/fabrication/installation I'm happy to report the little Kubota back hoe is running like new....I've come to the conclusion the original owner knew there was an issue with the Kubota...When cold everything was fine....almost....When left to sit a few minutes after running a while it was difficult to start....My diagnosis was a faulty diesel fuel lift pump...I was correct....While in there I upgraded the diesel fuel filter to El Dee spec....Now it starts hot with a bump of the key and the engine sounds strong...Delayed the Florida truck goose chase until I heard the tractor run as it had caused some worries...All I gotta do is tie up hoses and such that I undid for access...Had to run it a while to confirm no leaks beforehand...The Kubota is running great but on one of the last attempts to stand up after laying underneath it on a creeper I blew out my left knee....Takes a lot to get an old fat boy off the floor to a standing position....Repeat that 40 or 50 times and that's what happens I guess....Hoping it gets better 'cause hustling for a living comes with a cash on demand insurance plan...but the tractor is running as it should....So GOOD!!

Excited your plans are coming together Bov!!! I am a tad jealous that you won’t have to deal with any more snow, but thrilled for you too! I can’t wait to hear all of your adventures.

The girls have decided that this weekend should be “tree weekend”, so that’s what the plan is. Ready or not...and I’m really not!
Dd#1, Dd#2 and Dd#2s boyfriend are going to see the Rockettes in NYC tomorrow and to the lighting of the tree. They’re excited and I hope they have fun but this mama can’t help but feel uneasy with all the nutcases out there lately. I sure will be happy when they’re back HOME. Can’t help it. This world is CRAZY!

Years back I built a dividing wall in my shop....Tools on one side....large paint booth on the other...Keeps the tools free of paint overspray and a nice clean paint finish can be achieved....It's a paint booth though so no lift....10 foot ceiling as well and I think a lift should require a 12 foot ceiling...Plus at 6"3' when I use a lift I run the car to the top...Trust I'd have both a frame machine and a lift if I had the room for them...At this stage in the game I'm not sure what's coming next but building another shop is unlikely...Truth is I could have all that stuff already if I wasn't building the legend of El Dee and studying more on the legend of El Dee's shop....Those younger years I worked just enough to almost get by....I never really heard my knee pop nor could I pinpoint the exact time of the injury....Pretty sensitive to side loads ATM and a little swollen....Feels normal after a good rest in a position where no pain is felt....10 steps or so and pain city though...Taking it as easy as possible and hoping it heals on it's own.....
Florida truck is still in the mix....Tonight I found a black one in Spartanburg, SC....Gotta ride Interstate 85 through Charlotte to see it....Not an easy trip but I gotta see this truck before a Florida trip is made...It's at a Kia dealer and I'm gonna call tomorrow....Trust I already know they're gonna claim it's the Holy Grail....The knee dictates all so we'll see how it goes....

Well, they’re not staying for the lighting of the tree tonight, thankfully. They’re just going in for the 2:00 Rockettes show, then heading back.
ElDee, ice and aleve liquigels! Elevate it whenever possible. I know it’s against all the rules of hustle, but ya gotta do it! Sounds painful. Hope it heals up for you quickly.
Got up good and early to make the SC trip....Knee felt better....A little moving around and the knee felt worse...Decided to rest the knee for the day and at that time the Direct TV box sheet the bed....with tons of yet to be watched stuff on the DVR and the Vikings season premier right about now....Rest is what the knee needed though and it's 110% better than it was yesterday....Hoping to get out and about tomorrow....moving cautiously so as not to re injure the knee....
The knee is better still.....Got the Kubota all buttoned up and took it on a nice long test ride...Runs smoother than ever and best of all cranks easily when hot...So......FIXED!!!!!! I've come to the assumption the previous owner had to have known there was an issue with the Kubota when hot....Reason being it runs so much smoother when cold or hot....Anyway I got a Hella deal from him and only spent around $150 for the pump and upgraded filter system....So.....WINNER !!!!!!!! Previous owner lied though.....I got a strong feeling he couldn't be trusted....Sooner or later karma will come ahh calling' for him.....Direct box took less than 24 hours to get here.....I'm shocked....Already up and running but I still gotta set the DVR back up...I've been pounding the truck ads....Reviewed the pics from S.C.....Truck is a little edgy but is black and a 5-speed 12 valve....Guess I'm gonna ride down there and check it out further....
