Back from the dr. On hubs problem with sleeping he upped the amount of Gabapentin and wants him to take 2 before bedtime.Also prescribed a low dose of Ropinirole for Restless Leg Syndrome to be taken at bedtime also.Said that can be caused by his spine issues.
On the dizzy issue it said it could be caused by all the meds he takes,could just be his blood pressure drops too low or both. Also could be something else. Sent hubs to the lab for blood tests. Also gave him 10 more days of antibiotic for his sinus infection.
More pills Yippee.

Apparently they are loaded with side effects. Hospital called.They want him to have his lungs checked again and they want an ultrasound on his liver cause his liver function is high.
Gabapentin is used to treat peripheral nephropathy in diabetics...nerve pain. The ex takes it for his PN in his feet. The other one is for restless leg syndrome or Parkinson's. I'm sorry Hubs is having so many health issues, Fran

Got the Bro n Law a surf fishing rod and reel combo last night.....Dang rod is 10 feet long....That should keep the line above the waves....I'd pay to see a wave about now....Also hooked up myself with a nice St. Croix rod and a pair of camo henley shirts.....Bass Pro was outta black Henley's in XL....Dang old rain and Raleigh drivers didn't mix....Someone knocked down a power pole and there were lines across the main road into Raleigh's south side...So I got an unexpected detour straight into a cluster....Couple rod and reels plus 3 tacos later I figure surely the road is clear so....Hell No!!!!!!!.....Another unexpected detour....another cluster.....Car after car in the ditch.....45 minute trip easily doubled....I drove as the weather allowed though....Back in one piece with some shopping done....Off to check into a truck....Maybe the 40th time will be the charm.....
I don't know who has more heath problems,hubs or my youngest daughter.She has Thyroid disease,Asthma,Adrenal failure and inflammation in her bloodstream.Even the specialists haven't been able to find the cause of the inflammation. The Adrenal failure is a rare thing.Requires taking steroids to make up for adrenal function and she has to carry a syringe and bottle of liquid steroids for emergency.
Yes but she's tough like her Mom and doesn't let herself get down. She's still plugging away to find the doctor that can give her some answers.

Icy rain and drizzle last night has me mighty happy I don't have to go anywhere today. Temps will rise above freezing today, so it will be gone quickly, but still happy to avoid the Christmas weekend rush.

I tried to,Bov and was pretty successful at it. We have an ice storm today and I'm hoping to keep power. I know that's doubtful but there's no wind so there's a chance.
