Good morning,kgj Was hoping hubs pain level would be better this morning but it's not yet. The sore thought has kicked in also.

I hope you are able to get some rest, Fran. Was this an outpatient procedure, or was Hubs admitted to the hospital?

It was outpatient but a long day. We left at 12:30 to go up to the main hospital and didn't get home til 7 last night.

Hubs at least can talk now.

Thanks for the birthday wishes....I spent the day getting my license renewed after a failed attempt on Monday....Sat in the DMV for two hours before they announced they would only be serving until two numbers ahead of me....Yeah I was ..........Went to another location yesterday and got in and out pretty quickly....Lady there told me the previous location was forced closed for the day when someone threw up all over the DMV office...Glad I wasn't there....Spent the remaining part of the day sitting in Mom's optometrist parking lot....She got new glasses and had worried the Hell outta me the night before wanting a time we could go...This was after not getting my license and they were expiring the next day....All good now though...

Hubs is on his way to the hospital via ambulance and I'm finding it difficult to imagine any happy outcome.

They are admitting him. He told the doctor that did the liver procedure to stay away from his pancreas. Well,I guess he didn't cause the pain is being cause by his pancreas being irritated.So he's dehydrated.

Hopefully getting IV fluids in him and some pain meds will have him feeling better in a day or so. I can imagine that scope and dye is very irritating to everything inside that area. Try to rest if you can, Fran

Hubs is feeling better without the intense pain. He is being nourished by IV. No food or drink yet.He gets some ice water and some iced gingerale with little sponge things to keep mouth from being too dry.

I'm glad to get through the end of this thread. Hubs pain relief is sure glad to here.... My prayers for you two is continuing.

It's been hectic here for the last couple of weeks. We have had a push this month at work... Kia has been stressed making sure to get all her paperwork finished. She got her work visa but she had to have her Dr. write a letter for each med, then Kia had to send them to Japan, who approves them and sends them back here so she can show them to customs.
She's been doing going away get togethers here and LA and she is flying out on the 15th.

I'm picking up a moving van at 7 tomorrow and picking u[ the furniture of kia's replacement and driving down to LA (3 1/2hrs) and moving her in. Then loading up Kia's and heading back home. They have been in a 1 bedroom since they moved down. When Kia gets back they'll get a 3 bedroom.

Wharf that is a lot of stuff going on. Keeping you busy for sure, which means less time for worries!
