I've been using battery junction lately, my source for 20700s. IMRbatteries is the other site I've used a lot over the last couple years.

I'm sitting on extra vtc6 batteries, if you would like a few. I've switched to primarily 20700, have more than enough 18650 since they only get used rarely (I picked up four vtc6 just before switching to the 20700 format).

(Alternately I also have lg he4 that have only gone through a couple cycles. I really don't want to hang onto more than 4 of the he4 and vtc6, since my regular mods are all 20700, and I still have good lg UPS' on hand.)

Vtc5 is a good 20a battery, vtc6 is a good 15a, he4 is a good 20a,... I stick with lg, Sony, and Sanyo (love the Sanyo 20700b - a true 4000 mAh a long as you aren't trying to pull more than about 60W per battery).

Happy Mother's Day

Thank you for the batt ordering suggestions, those were the 2 places I had in mind to look. Mark, I'd be happy to take a couple of sets of 20a batts off your hands, as long as you're sure you want to let them go! Thank you for the offer!

Dee, I know you'll be happy to finally get that septic stuff done.

Today will be day 3 of trench digging for the septic drain field...The trench is a square 24 X 24 wide and deep...Then 8 inches of gravel in the bottom followed by the pipe on top of that...Then the pipe gets a sock stretched over it and another 5/6 inches of gravel to cover....Fill the trench with dirt and compact it....Getting in and out of the trench laying pipe and establishing the final grade with a rake and shovel....getting on and off the backhoe and the constant jarring....full on sun shining on the trenches....I'm tired and burnt to a crisp physically and mentally....

DW and I made it down to Key West. A little delay in Newark but we were still at the B&B by 2pm.

We're in Old Town, one street over from Duval, a 10 minute walk to the waterside restaurants.

Today was getting the lay of the land. We went to Conch Republic for a pound of royal red shrimp and some fried conch (awesome :) ), then caught some happy hour appetizers at the Boathouse (the B&B operator gives good leads - an excellent guitarist is in town, often big names stop by to play with him, we'll try to catch him tomorrow evening).

Tomorrow we'll do snorkeling from shore at Fort Zachary beach, then probably a couple of reef dives in the afternoon.

The Pulse 80W is working nicely. I brought a 20700 mech as backup (will probably take it when we're doing water stuff).

    ElDee...rest...soon...please!

Oh yes that storm rolled through here about 4:15 yesterday. The winds were a bit scary, followed by the longest rolling thunder that I’ve ever heard, and then some pretty good rain. The strangest thing about it was, it was just in that order....no mixing it up. It was seriously crazy winds as the clouds rolled in, that stopped and the continuous thunder started and once that stopped down came the rain. It was so odd, but thankfully we are all ok.
Bov I saw that ct was hit pretty bad too. Was glad you are no longer there!

Mark, enjoy vacation and that Pulse!!!
