I didn't attend the auction....Figured it best to hold steady with what I got going on...Hit the Costco and grabbed the last two packs of stainless mesh gutter guards....saved $10 per pack since they want them gone....Was told it's a summer stock item....There had been plastic guards in place but the back to back hurricanes and such pretty much jacked up the plastic ones...About half the house had aluminum guards already in place of previously damaged plastic ones....Those Costco brand guards are the best I've ever seen in a DIY guard.....Monsoon a few hours ago.....they've been tested already

Yep, that cold front rolled thru here yesterday. We dodged the storms, got just a little dab of rain, but sent our 70 degree day down to the lower 40s last night.

Katie's house had the seamless Leaf Guard gutters, and they were awesome. I never once had to get up there and clean or unclog them, even when the maple trees shed their helicopter seeds. I have no clue what they cost since they were already installed when I moved there. I hear thru the grapevine that the house and yard have gone to hell in a hand basket since I left...no surprise there tho.

Hi all!

Another bizzy week, yesterday I had 7 hours of review meetings on a nominal off Friday. It beats twiddling my thumbs, though I'll be glad when things slow up a bit [emoji3] (I'm working as Proposal Manager on a job, covering for program manager and sr engineer on certain things when needed.)

The little schnozz skin graft seems to be healing nicely, though I have to keep it covered and dry for a few more weeks. On the plus side, I'm becoming good at nose bandages [emoji3]

I'm looking at rebuilding another vpdam leon mech squonker today. The squonk hole in the door has been widened, time to do the modmaker 510 and new contacts. I see some copper cutting and dremeling coming up...

Glad everything is going well with your graft Mark.
Here's a hoot I make a $40.00 offer on ebay for a jacket and say they pay for shipping. The guy says okay but the shipping is still there. We go back and forth for 6 or 7 emails and finally he says I accepted your offer you changed it it's on you. I tell him no you go look at my offer and read the message that's with it. So he accepts and I tell him you need to redo the billing with paypal to get rid of the shipping. The guy says just pay it I put some cash in the pocket. I laughed a lot about that and payed him just because he put it that way. Who knows how much he put in the pocket if any.

Seamless Leaf Guard is similar to the Gutter Helmet....They will keep the gutters clean but require a gutter machine to fabricate....My neighbor owns a gutter business and gave me the low down on Gutter Helmet...Either is very expensive....My neighbor offers neither and uses 1/4 aluminum mesh in 4 foot sections...The Costco is @ 1/32nd stainless mesh and fitment between sections is really good...Something is surely gonna get hung up but shouldn't be much.....I finished the 2 sections beside the fireplace today so the gutters should be good for a bit...

Spent the remainder of the day pressure washing my 79 Bronco and then my 24 foot enclosed trailer....Gotta get new tires for the trailer so I can haul tools and such to the beach house when doing repairs over the winter...Pressure washer is going on a mini vacation....that thing has worked me over good this week....

Cuzzo's son and my little friend Matt was driving down to a pasture he rents for his cows Wednesday...A lady ran a stop sign and hit Matt in the driver's door....That cue balled Matt into a utility pole that he broke dead in half...I drove up on the scene....Matt had three surgeries this week...He's gonna be OK that's the main thing...

:wub:Well, good Sunday morning to all my buzzard friends!!!
Sheesh, I was about 5 pages back this morning!
I've been debating ordering a Freemax Mesh Pro tank....Anybody using one ??????

Today will be day 4 running the pressure washer....The backside of my house was jacked up with algae and mold.....Just about tired of the pressure washer....Cold front on the way and we're supposedly gonna have severe storms with damaging winds possible....That's business as usual these days.....Gonna hit the U.S. Marshall's auction lot here in a few for the preview of tomorrow's auction....3 really nice motorcycles seized from someone are on the bid....Usually sheet gets outta hand at those auctions but there's always the chance of a deal as well...I missed one Hell of a deal on a Jeep there a year ago...There was a motorcycle a couple items past the Jeep so I held on to my cash....yepp.....the motorcycle went outta the park....

I just bought the free max mesh pro tank. It worked great, and pulled out flavors of my juice that I never tasted before! Awesome! Problem for me (and ymmv) was it chugged through juice like no other tank before. I decided that I’m best to stick with my beloved crown 3s so I made a deal with a coworker to buy me a new ss crown 3 and we would switch, so that’s what we did! He’s loving the mesh pro, and I’m enjoying my vape as I’ve become accustomed. Knowing how long my juice and batteries will last! What can I say? I’m resistant to change. And I run Naked 100 juice out of that one so it’d cost me way more in the long run.
It truly is a good tank though. Easy slide top fill, killer flavor, very sharp looking!

I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend!

So glad your friend will be ok, Dee.

Ha, Tracy! Talk about being resistant to change...I'm still chugging along with my original Crowns, and my Crown 2! I've had about all the change I can stand in my life in the last couple of years

J5, I hope you find a nice surprise in the pocket of that new jacket!

I've been seeing a new Crown in the ads....Pretty sharp looking tank but the Crown II killed that deal for me...Thanks for the input 908....All my research says the Freemax Mesh is the way to go...Most use a dual coil in the Freemax....A single coil comes in the box....Tank MPGs should be way better with a single coil....I've found Freemax stock in black and green/orange...Running 3 Oceanus/Big Baby Beasts and looking to run 2 with Freemax and one Big Baby just to finish out the coils I have....Gonna pit the dual verses the single coil Freemax and see how they compare for a tote around daily juice puffer....

With everything I've got going on I see no other route past selling my big boat....Was halves on that boat with Sis and ya'll may remember they snuck out and purchased a new boat and left old boy standing there....I purchased their half....The boat hasn't been off the trailer in years....Gonna pull it up to the wash bay today and start scrubbing...My intention is to have it high and tight when this winter breaks....ready for the early spring market....The hustle never ends.....need to cut some grass and get some assistance moving the newly cleaned Bronco under the shelter....Gonna try and get the Bronco's carburetor cleaned in the upcoming weeks...The Bronco belonged to my Dad and has been mine since 1995....

ElDee,
A single (.15 ohm) and a dual (.2ohm) coil comes in box. I cannot safely run anything lower than .2 on my hexohms, so I was trying out the dual coil. Killer flavor like I said, but man oh man was it a change for me.
I run my Fireluke mesh tanks on my drag, and a minikin 2 bc they can handle the .15 ohm coils. I might pick another one up (mesh pro) in silver (I had rainbow this time) in the future to run on a non hexohm. That’s what happens when you work in a vape shop. You get serious cases of “gotta have it” and before you know it, you’ve left half your paycheck there. Ugh

I just spread the wealth...1 black....1 orange and 1 green Freemax Mesh Pro...Got 1 box of dual coils and rounded it all out with some Profile wicks and coils...Had to split the order between My Vapor Store and Element due to stock....That's why I got 3 tanks as I needed a bit for free shipping and it will fit my three PV three juice system defined by the color of the drip tip....For instance Snake Oil has always went into the green tipped tank....Truth is the Big Baby Beasts have given it a good run but as of late my preferred coils have been hard to find....Pretty sure the Freemax is gonna blow them away....

My best rig atm....Pulse 90 with the Wotofo Profile...All done up in green and sporting the Lime ah Licious juice....Nothing I've puffed to date can compare....

Dang old daylight savings time...I don't like it....First day I get caught in the dark with the mower and tractor still sitting outside....Got the grass cut everywhere but where the trailers were circled before the hurricanes...Washed on the big boat a bit and will continue that until it specs out....Gonna be a process....

Dee if it's ok.... I'd like to try Lime ah Licious!.... I switched back to Native wicks cotton. It's very close to the rayon in flavor, however no matter how much rayon I put through the coil, in 2-3 days it collapses enough that it doesn't make contact with part of the mesh.
That being said, I used the pancake wicking with the cotton. next build will see rayon again.

We just got to spend a couple hours on face time with Kia... which always makes a GREAT start to the week. Right now it looks like she'll be home jan 26th

Lime Ahh Licious

Coconut FA 6%
Key Lime Pie TPA 3%
Lemon Meringue SC Real Flavors 2%
Lime Tahiti Cold Pressed FA 3%
Super Sweet Capella .8%

I started Lime Ahh Licious with the rayon and the flavor was a tad bit funky...Switched back to the Wotofo cotton and it's the shizz....That last pack of Smoke Big Baby Beast coils is no good....I got three rigs sitting here on coils less than a week old and they all taste burnt to different degrees....Usually I get weeks before dunking up and it's the same juice as always....There will be no retirement party for the Smoks......

Rayon with mesh......It's gonna have to be way overstuffed to the point it has pretty big shoulders leaving the mesh....As I understand it rayon will wick away from the coils as good as it wicks to the coils so you gotta trim the legs pretty thin compared with cotton....I got the whole piece of Cellucotten into the Profile with little issue...I believe that it needed more....It's my opinion rayon gives great flavor and goes forever in the coil...However most recipes were conceived using cotton and there will likely be some adjustment needed especially if there is Capella Super Sweet involved....Then you got the rayon compresses where as cotton swells when wet and it's just easier for me to use the Wotofo...Easy and I got plenty of stock...I do plan on a no contact coil stuffed with rayon in the Dead Rabbit SQ.....

Rain moved in last night....The area around my back steps and entrance to my house is a muddy mess...Rain before....pressure washing added more....rain after...You best watch where you step....Gonna hit the Home Depot here in a few....DeWalt Brushless 20 volt oscillating tool in the bare tool form as I don't need batteries nor the sanding attachment in the kit....Lowes only has the kit....HD has the bare tool with two blades...Lowes also doesn't have Wet and Forget Shower....If that stuff works as well as the house cleaner I'm in like Flynn...Spray it on and hose it off the next day....says it works better if starting with a clean shower but we got time....no shower scrubbing time though....Mom also needs a small pick axe as she broke the handle outta hers and it's got some funky rubber sleeve where it goes through the pick head....Likely not gonna find the correct size handle and I've never had complete success replacing a wooden handle in anything much....That bathroom wall at the beach has got flooring under it that's gotta be replaced....I've been scheming and got paid to put in a new wall...The DeWalt will allow me to cut the staples holding the wall to the floor and then whatever it takes to sneak the new flooring under the wall....being as I gotta go and work a couple of days at a time that alone will save me weeks not to mention the aggravation of redoing the wall....

The new gutter guards are working GREAT !!!!!
