Awe. Thanks, Fran. I will be staying for sure. I am very glad to hear from you today. You have been heavily on my mind.

I know all too well how hard things are for you right now. Hang in there, my friend.
I'm doing my best. My youngest daughter was here all day cleaning and stuff so I didn't have much time to be online. Hubs slept for a good deal of the day.

Happy New Year too all !!!!

Trying to get a jump on my heater plumbing I found the crawl space under my house a virtual swimming pool...I now own a Wayne Water Bug portable pump....Dug a hole big enough for a 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled into the bottom.....Got it pumped out pretty good and even though it's raining things seem to be holding up pretty good...Gonna try and access the other side of the house when I get a break from the downpours...I put that side access door right by the water line and the portable deck supports have it blocked shut....Just another day in pair ahh dice....Guess I'm gonna be installing a real deal sump pump in the future....

    Happy Almost New Year!

Staying busy. The big job I've been working on is almost done, looking for things to slow down for a bit.

On the home front, the well guy is finally getting around to our place, but is doing some work on his truck; hopefully we'll see him Wednesday.

Based on a comment from our neighbor across the street, I rechecked our water recently. No pesticides, nitrites, nitrates, but it looks like we have a low level of coliform bacteria. I've got a whole house UV filter coming in Wed, with a flow restrictor (to ensure the water gets a good dose of UV). Neither DW nor I have had any illnesses, but better safe than sorry. I'm using the same filter I installed at camp - low power consumption, lamp change once a year, it'll fit nicely next to our regular filters.
