    ...

I’m looking at the Pico 25 and eVic Mini Primo. One (or maybe both) will be the successor to my lil Pico. I may sell my Pico to a co-worker who’s looking into e-cigs to quit smoking.

If you are considering the eVic Mini Primo, go with the Newer Version. The Primo SE.

For Fit and Feel, the Primo SE is Fantastic. Fits my hand like a Glove. And I Love the Big Display. But... it probably has the Worst Battery Life of any mod that I own.

If you are looking for a Nice, Compact Single Battery mod with a Big Screen, the Primo SE would be a Good Choice. If you are looking for a mod that has Great Battery Life, not so much.

I like Joyetech products. My first Gen eVic Mini is still my favorite mod and going strong, even after two years.

I’ll do some research on the SE Thanks for the info!

The Primo SE is perhaps my Favorite Regulated Mod. Like I said, it Fits my like a Glove. And the is No Overhang when using 24 or 25mm Atomizers. Also like the Faux Carbon Fiber Sticker which gives it a Grippy, Non-Fingerprint Magnet look.

Just a Great Mod all the way around. With the Exception of it Doesn't have very good battery life.

For a Lower Wattage MTL-er, this won't be such an issue. Or for someone who has Other Mods and the Primo SE will be part of a Rotation.

I do all of my vaping in TC mode these days: better flavor and slightly longer battery life

    Gotcha.

I don't use TC all that much. But as I recall, it did TC pretty well.

Thought you might want to confirm that with Someone who uses TC more than myself.

For a small mod that fits 24mm tanks well, the iStick TC 40W is a good one. You get a mm overhang on each side with a 24mm tank, but it works well and still looks good. USB only charging with the built in battery is a negative, but a charge will last most of the day at 12W and on past supper. Sometimes I grab the iStick when I'm cutting grass or working outside the house. I can always charge it if needed and it fits in a pocket well.

The down side of the iStick TC40W is that it doesn't do TC with SS. It's restricted to Titanium and Nickel. But, for wattage mode it's a winner.

For a 22mm Built-In Battery Mod, the eLeaf iStick TC 40W is pretty darn hard to beat.

I think Every Vaper should have at least 1 in their mod arsenal.

I still have my Joyetech eGo One which is my ‘stealth’ vape when out and about. It fills my need when I need to sneak a vape. Doesn’t produce as much taste or vapor, but it works.

You've already received some good recommendations. I agree with them all insofar as they aren't bad choices per se, even if I don't care for them too much (Ares lol). I will, however, caution against the Skyline on your list, not the greatest MTL experience when compared to the others here. For what it's worth, the SXK doggystyle is my goto tank followed by the Berserker.

That said, it's trial and error. You'll never know for sure how you'll like a tank until you try it. Go with your gut and see what happens. ;)
I checked out the SXK Doggy, and my only concern is the PC tank. Does anyone sell a glass replacement?

If you want an rta that can really do a very flavorful mtl vape and do a restricted dl then the SJMY version of the Doggystyle is your ticket. You won't get better flavor and you can open and close the afc to get both vapes. If you buy the SXK it will be strictly mtl with great flavor. For the record, I own and use both.

There is a guy on ebay selling these little mods for 9.99 and they have a real Dna40 in them. They will handle a 24mm atty and for ten bucks you sure cant beat it. I have two in the closet just cause and have one in roation every day. Oh and they are super tiny has to be the smallest mod ive ever owned.

I’ve just noticed that the 510 threads on two of my mods are beginning to wear-out because of the constant removal and re-install of my Subtank Mini. I’m guessing that it may become necessary for me to move on from my Subtank Mini and onto a top-fill MTL atty.

I really like Vandy Vape’s Berserker MTL RTA. The 24mm width means it won’t fit my ELeaf Pico, but it’ll fit my other devices, with minimal overhang. And the optional 4ml glass tank means less filling.

Great taste. Less filling. Sounds like a lite beer commercial!

I’ve looked into the Mini Berserker, and I’m wondering if there’s a larger capacity replacement glass available?

Top fills don't always mean you don't have to remove them from the mod. Yes, I have several top fill tanks, but due to the fact that the upper pressure created in the tank, it sometimes pushes the juice through and out the air holes. To prevent that I still remove the tank, close off the airflow and on the last half turn of the top I turn the tank upside down to relieve that pressure.

I second the Siren tank. I just got a couple and they are easy to wick and I have no leaking. Just go to youtube and type in the type of tank you are looking for ie.....how to build a siren tank.....

Another good tank that can be both mtl or DL is the original Uwell Crown tank. Comes with 3 different stock coils and you can buy the rba for it also. I am using the rba love putting in titanium coils. There is the reg tank which holds 4ml or the mini which holds 2ml.

    :)

I didn’t know that about the original Crown. I always thought the Crown family were all DL.

Well, they do offer a 1.2 ohm stock coil so technically speaking.....anything over 1.0 ohm could be considered MTL, and anything under 1.0 ohm can be considered sub-ohm. At least that is what I have read here at ECF.

    :)
